Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*

Featured Replies

Wins at Burnley and Arsenal take us within 8 points of top*. I would love it if Rosenior instilled that desire to win in the team and chase down results.

*Note that I am not suggesting we have a chance to win the league, just that it means the gap between us and first will have halved since Rosenior took over.

Arsenal's 58 points is the fewest the Premier League leaders have had after 27 games since Leicester in 2015-16 (56).

Really hope he doesn’t play Gusto at LB. He needs to trust Hato, and let him make his mistakes. Makes no sense having Enzo playing as a LM if Gusto is going to be the one providing width. He struggles with his delivery on his stronger foot, will be a nightmare on his weaker. Worst case scenario play a back 3 with Neto as LWB.

Not instill, just remind. The team still has winners in there, this team's problem isn't the lack of desire. It's the cool heads needed to keep mistakes to a minimum, to make every pass every shot count

Guess what Gusto LB, what a c**t

"This is probably the best way to get result. Just ignore all these players who is not ready to play. Not ideal for talent development, but talent development get you nothing as manager"

This is what I said in hull thread. This is the reality of manager

We outplayed Arsenal with ten men a couple of months ago. But yes, let's hook every single attacker and invite all kinds of pressure because we are facing mighty Burnley at home.

Liam Rosenior ladies and gentlemen.

What a sh*tshow this week has been from Rosenior. Taking the players on holiday at such a crucial stage, beyond stupid. The players were flat all game. The subs were beyond terrible. Bringing Tosin on is like going a man down, then you bring on Delap too who is also beyond sh*t. Taking off Neto and James is f**king criminal though. The strongest player in the squad and the quickest when you're down to 10 men, and you take them off? That's not just amateur management, that is negligence.

I'm sick of that useless twat Enzo stinking up every game too. I've never seen a player receive more favouritism in my life.

Panicked. Simple as.

His reaction was the same exact thing I do in FIFA when I need to protect a lead. Just bring on 5 CBs.

Works in a video game….

It never works, it just invites pressure.

I hated when even Jose used to do it, we bottled a lead at Old Trafford in the last minute because he brought Zouma on for an attacker, which led to Zouma giving away the foul for Van Persie to equalise.

Play 7 CB's against the worst team in the world and you're only giving them more confidence to go on and win it. It's always been a silly thing IMO.

We didn’t come out of first gear but we honestly didn’t need to. Should easily have been 3 goals up at least. Can’t keep blaming managers for the players lack of quality upfront.

As for the subs, people are reaching a lot. I would probably have taken of Enzo over Palmer myself but it was still an understandable sub to make. As for James and Neto off for Josh and Sarr, that again was fine considering how long of the game was left and fresh legs we have upfront. We concede due to poor defending of a set piece which happens even without us having 5 CBs on the pitch.

Same reaction to the red card as Maresca against Man Utd, but the fact that we were playing Burnley at home makes it even worse. So cowardly

I'd say doing it in the 4th minute at 0-0 is a lot worse than doing it in the 85th minute at 1-0 up.

What are you talking about ha ha

A Rosenior exercise in trying to take the piss out of the opposition. Ridiculously short passing between 3 or 4 players, flicks rather than going for the jugular. The most ridiculous substitutions putting on 4 centre backs, none of whom was withing 5 yards of the Burnley goalscorer after the harsh sending off by the Lancashire 'referee'. Palmer, Neto, James and Pedro off. What a joke manager!

Dear owners: when do we get a professonal manager?

You're asking the architects of this train wreck to fix it? They willingly, under no obligation whatsoever, spent a fortune to turn us into the youngest most inexperienced team in the league.

Yes you can blame the manager. Players should have been on the training ground all week, focused. They shouldn't have been on holiday, all that did was make them lose sharpness and that was clear throughout the 90 minutes. We were sloppy all game.

And the subs weren't fine at all. James is the captain, the strongest player in the team, you never take him off unless he is forced to come off. It's like taking Terry off when trying to see out a game. Neto is the quickest player, we need an out ball. You mention bringing on fresh legs up front.....he didn't do that though. He brought Delap on (useless) and the rest were defenders, 3 of them being kids. He set them up to fail.

No different than the last manager poor tactics and cowardly subs. Sends them all on a jolly up when he should have been working on the training ground Piss Poor
