Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*

Featured Replies

Good luck to him but talk is cheap. Give me the managers job tomorrow being the normal citizen that I am and ill be saying same.

Not getting my hopes up. Sarri ball is still in this clubs DNA. I won't be watching Chelsea until we win 3 league games in a row. Yes I am now only gonna sing when we win. I don't get paid enough to use my spare time watching millionaires fail at their job every week.

Jackson scored 14 goals (18.5 xG) under Poch

One more than Kai Havertz. Same number as Chris Wood. Two less than Jared Bowen and Mateta. Five less than Dominic Solanke.

Quality.

Just watched his first presser. He has a certain charm to him and he's said all the right things. Then again I don't think I've ever seen a manager say the wrong things from the off.

Ultimately it's all about winning football matches. Jose is an arrogant prick but we all love him. Potter is probably the nicest manager in the world and well, we know what we think of him.

Is saying that he was a Utd fan and suggesting that this “young Chelsea” can be like Utd’s class of 92 the right things at this time? No need to give the media any more fodder right now.

🗣️" Asked Liam Rosenior earlier if he views Reece James as a full-back or midfielder. "He's a very, very good player. He's a very good player. Good players can play in many different positions. Obviously, I've analysed the recent games that we've played before I've come in and I have to say Reece, in terms of his impact on the group, in terms of his performances when he's been on the pitch, I think he's growing every day. And it's exciting to be working with Reece at this stage of his career now because I think he has levels. It's an exciting thing for Reece. He has levels that he can go to even beyond what he's performing now.

A whole load of nothing, can’t even answer a simple question. James is a “9” and a world class class RB, as a midfielder he is a “6” and offers just presence. You can’t convince me the Sports Directors aren’t picking the players.

bo**ocks.

Obviously the proof will be in the pudding, but he's at least more enjoyable to listen to than Maresca was.

Making reference to how teams used to dread playing against the likes of Lampard, JT, etc instead of pretending the club didn't really exist until Clearlake, and talking about wanting intensity and for us to be enjoyable to watch.

Might just be that he's very media savvy, but I'll hold my hand up and say listening to that first press conference has made a bit more optimistic.

He never was really antisemitic though was he.. I think he was opposed to the genoside, which is fair enough

Failure to act on or even acknowledge the anti semitism rife within the Labour Party as the leader of said party shows his views on the matter.

In his first few days, all I have heard from Rosenior is word salad.

Don't forget the driving narrative that Rosenior's the first black head coach we've had

Let's just forget about the most creative midfielder I'd ever seen playing for the club to that point, leave the pitch to lead us to our first silverware in almost 50 years and to be one of the poneers in changing the clubs fortunes. Let's just let that one slide by, after all the mindless American cretin didn't recognise Ruud anyway.

Likewise, but I've watched Conor Holden's analysis tonight and he has reiterated what I have also seen from watching Strasbourg. Its the same slow, slow, ponderous build up, buggering around at the back but with the keeper being in the thick of it as well. I can see me hating this boring sh*te football as well

Can’t let me have a couple of days of hope can you

I too dream of incisive forward passing, so I got my hopes up when I saw a piece about how Rosenior's Strasbourg side had the highest rate of forward passes in the league. Then when I watched Conor's piece it dawned on me that it's going to be slow passes at the back followed by hopeful forward passes into a packed low block defence.

Oh god it's like one of those escape room movies where after figuring a way out of the room they're locked in, the doomed find themselves in another torturous room of sh!te.

Haha, haven't kicked a bloody ball yet. Is my PTSD slightly evident?

Corbyn's predecessor, Ed Miliband is Jewish and was the Labour party leader for 5 years, even though apparently according to you "anti Semitism" is rife in the Labour party.

Can we call a halt to this, it's got NOTHING to do with Rosenior's suitability for the job.

Have a good weekend.

Come on you BLUES!

For a skinny st in his 1st year in PL, 14 goals is a very good number.

But the statistics don't lie Bob. Chris Wood, Dominic Solanke and Ollie Watkins. There is a lot of EPL experienced players ahead of Limited Jackson.

I've seen people quoting themselves but I must admit quoting yourself with a counter argument is a first laugh2

😀

I always thought quoting oneself because you made a lucky guess should be banned.

The new guy can talk there's no denying that. I think we should give him some time.

Of course if we don't beat Charlton 6-0 it is open season on the receding, sight-impaired, bigoted, left-wing, Trump-hating, woke, fraud c**t.

"Liam, is the sky red or blue?"

"Yes".

"Im very fortunate, in terms of the goalkeepers, Jorgensen and Sanchez are world class with the ball at their feet, which absolutely suits the way i want to play.

But im not going to come in here on the first day, and say for Rob or Filip to play from the halfway line. It takes time ,its a process."

What we saying? Sacked at the end of the season or next Dec/Jan?

Sacked at the end of the season or if he keeps talking then maybe sooner.
