Arsenal (3) vs Chelsea (2) (LC) Tuesday 3rd February 20:00 GMT

I don’t think it’s going as bad as some people think.

It’s probably abit naive to go for it from kick off because Arsenal will simply pick us off.

Rosenior is probably hoping we’ll nick a goal from somewhere while we’re staying solid at defence. We had better chances than them, if luck was on our side we could have been 1 - 0 up.

I don’t doubt we will start going for it in 2nd half but that also gives Arsenal bigger chances to score. It’s a knife edge decision really.

You like this? It's ass. Really really sh*t. If a Maresca side is too scared, then I don't see how this is any different. So many times the players just refuse to play the ball forward and take the safe option and play backwards.

It’s a tough call. We go hung ho and get 6 goals or get torn apart. Who knows?

This way, one scrappy goal could get penalties, or just a 0-0 drawer. Who knows?

If we don’t win, he gets sh*t either way.

Seems that being " comfortable" when actually needing to win this game is something we are happy about?

I'm dreading that all the dicking around in our half is gonna end in a monumental f**k up . Arsenal actually look the more likely to score without even trying too hard .

Who knows though? If it works, fair play to Rosenior.

I don't think we've done that bad containing them it's just we lack the quality in attack.

Delap is not fit for purpose on the right and if you swap him for Estevao then you have someone who can make something out of nothing. It's only really Pedro right now that can do that.

Is there extra time in the event we get one or does it go straight to penalties?

Yes. If aggregate scores are level at full time, there will be extra time and then potentially penalties.

Always good to see you around Chippy.

Thanks mate,

Not sure I've got any more confidence after that half...who's that bright new right winger we've got...hopefully Estaveo gets the 2nd half

I don't know.

0-0 or 6-0.

The young players would be less damaged by the draw. We need to get a late goal and see how it goes. If we score the crowd will get nervy and we might get a winner.

To be honest, I’m ok with us not scoring yet. I’m watching it with a three week old baby in my arm. I have a free arm for my beer.

Lovely. Such a special time.
