Non youth min

Arse 91

City 79

United 64 (their gk is 22, if you remove him, it is probably 75)

Villa 88

Liverpool 70

Chelsea 68 (2nd best behind our role model Brighton)

If you want to compete now and in the future, you sign player around 24 (this chart use 23). If you keep signing kids, you basically keep building your team for the future.

According to that chart, our clowns can't even copy the Brighton model, as they have experienced and veteran players and we don't. In fact, we are the only ones not to have any experience in the team.

Two actual center backs next to Colwill and a Rice/Anderson partner to Caicedo and we mean business next season.

Rice / Caicedo pivot is a terrifying thought. Not for the opposition, but from watching us try to play out.

But many at their peak! Which initially sounds encouraging, before you realise that mediocrity is their peak.

I’m really glad we didn’t make Europe. That means we don’t really need a massive squad, so let the clear out begin.

Get rid of Enzo Fernandez, Cucurella, plus several fringe players like Garnacho, Fofana etc.

That alone should give us alot of money to spend. Let Alonso decide who he wants to sign. 3 or 4 players.

One game a week, we should be, at the very least, mount a weak title challenge, with top 4 very comfortably secured.

Shouldn't we allow Alonso to keep the players he wants, rather than telling him who to get rid of? And if we constantly complain about needing experience, it seems counterintuitive to get rid of two of our current " older heads ", Cucurella and Enzo.

The club aren't forcing the moves. The players are.

Cucurella is dead set on wanting to go back to Spain apparently and Enzo's agent has been using other club's interest as leverage to get an improved contract with a wage well above what he's worth as a footballer. I don't mind if they leave so long as they are replaced correctly, and history has shown these 5 sporting directors don't know their elbow from their asshole.

I also doubt Alonso will have any care if the club push out the likes of Garnacho, Delap, Badiashile, Fofana, Gusto, etc.

Who in their right mind is spending any sort of money on the likes of Fofana, Delap and Garnacho?

Depending on who leaves in the summer, these players may become our starters.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I don't think it's a coincidence that the only two players who "spoke out" happen to be the two players most likely to move, nor is it a coincidence that they are at prime sale value.

Not that it matters, both players are a net drain on the team tactically speaking and need to be sold. Time to make hay while the sun shines.

The Athletic reporting Sanchez & Penders will be our GKs.

Anyone believing we will sign winners and more experienced players are deluded. we already have Penders, Barco, Emegha, Satpaev and Quenda coming, we had Sarr come back in January, dont be surprised if we buy Enciso, the club are a bunch of liars, unless we can somehow sell a bunch of players nothing will happen, some people are saying we should buy Hall, why? we have Hato and now Barco to replace Cucurella, Quenda will replace Garnacho (if he leaves), Penders will replace Jorgensen, meaning once again we are stuck with Sanchez,Emegha will replace Delap, Sarr will replace Tosin or Badieshille, Fofana wont leave as no one will pay his wages, If we can dump Gusto we may keep Josh

I genuinely don't mind if we sign only 3 very good and established players, whilst the bulk of the summer is spent on getting rid of the gash we have.

No Europe next season is such a bonus. Can't believe I am saying this.

Hire the fanciest manager you like but if we go into the season with those 2 as our GK options we are not serious.

City bought Donnarouma and Trafford in the same week while already having a much better keeper than us.

This is what we are competing against.

Jorgensen wants out but to where. It’s going to be the same sh*t ain’t it all my optimism that Alonso would mean change is drained.Quanda, Barco, Emegha all palmed on him. I can see Cucarella and Fernandez leaving which would be fine if the money was used correctly but once again all I see is our first team getting slightly worse. And still nobody sacked for transfer window after transfer window millions spent to go backwards….crazy.

Presumably they can only sack them for being useless in last season's 2 transfer windows because they were rewarded with contract extensions in recognition of the great job they were doing before the season started !

I said as soon as we sacked LR, Xabi Alonso was the only choice, so credit where credit is due, this is 1st managerial decision that i have agreed with under this ownership.

So I'm willing to extend some good will over the summer, and then see if they make some more correct decisions.

Focus now is on giving Alonso a team that is capable of winning the league. I am not buying into this 3 year project anymore. 1 game a week, sell half the squad, dont be greedy, and push the boat out for quality in a few positions.

We are more than capable of doing it in 1 summer, we have seen these lot change most the squad in a january window before, and even without CL football, you can bring in top players, if you pay them, and with Xabi Alonso convincing them, once one big name comes the rest will follow.

Squad doesnt need to be massive. Lets build it to Xabi's strengths.

Gk Penders, Sanchez

CB Colwill BASTONI, DIOMANDE, Hato Achampong.

WB James QUENDA MORIERA

CM Caicedo WHARTON BARCO Santos

RAM Palmer Estavao

LAM Pedro YILDIZ
