    Quite. His hammies and calves can cope with the relatively leisurely Saudi League. Full-on PL could be a different matter. Great player and even better human being, I hope he comes to a sensible decision.

    Had some links to Désiré Doué recently.  Maybe a coincidence Strasbourg are about to sign his brother.  Or is this the first move in convincing Desire to sign for us?

    Of all the links to random players this is the guy that has the look of potential for me.  PSG and Bayern interested too so maybe a slim possibility.

    Talk is he's nothing to do with Chelsea and a direct Strasbourg signing.  However we've had previous when it comes to signing siblings.

    We have reportedly opened talks with Gremio youngster Gabriel Mec [16] as they pursue yet another Brazilian wonderkid. He is a left winger.

    The 16-year-old left winger will sign a new contract with Gremio before a move to Stamford Bridge, however, in order to ensure he does not leave on a free transfer.
