Arnatouvic from West Ham to play upfront would be my choice in January, He's the complete opposite mentally than Morata, id be surprised if West Ham sold him to be honest.

Isn't Arnautovic injury prone? Doesn't seem ideal. I think Piatek of Genoa seems the best option. He can actually be got. The pickings are slim at this time of year. 

Not keen on Arnautovich, sure he is keen with a decent workrate (running forward anyway). The thinking for me is I get the feeling he is one dimensional just not quite fast enough or agile enough on the turn or mentally sharp enough.

Im not just basing this on yesterdays game but Andre Gomes is looking a really good for Everton, he's only on loan so if we don't sign Kovacic permanently we should keep on eye on him.

Looks like he could play Jorginho’s role or further forward even.

They would want Eden in return somehow and thats a big no......his buyout clause is at what 700M? WHO in the f**k comes out with these numbers?

I am hoping we get someone physical - After watching back to back games where Chelsea were manhandled, I am really hoping we get a physical guy who can go at the others.

Handful of reports out there that we are interested in Roma’s young winger Cengiz Ünder.  WAGNH seems to think it’s his agent working a new contract for him.  Not sure he would be best fit for a pressing style though?

anyone else really happy about the loan system changes the FA are bringing in? We can finally get rid of these dead wood players that'll never play for us, and only loan out players who actually have a chance in the future of getting into the first team! Not to mention we wont be sending out stupid amounts of players (almost 40 this season?) out on these pointless loans

I don't understand why they even want to do this. What harm is it doing to players going out on loan? It's better than being left in reserves playing no football at all.

From what I have seen of both players Gomes looks a much better option. Not overly impressed with Kovacic so far. Alright, nothing special IMO.

Haven't seen enough of Mina to form an opinion yet. Obviously dominant in the air and therefore a big threat at set pieces.

In the papers again about us chasing Wilson. According to today's report £30m in January for him.

For £30m I would take him as a short term option, then go big in the summer.  Homegrown and a solid PL goal scorer.  If Tammy continues to profess, we could sell Giroud, and go with summer signing-Wilson-Abraham as our 3 strikers.

id rather not spend £30M on a short term option, we could just recall Michy and give him game time until the end of the season. We need to stop wasting money.

Apparently we’re concerned about losing several homegrown players (Cahill, Fabregas, Christensen, Moses, Drinkwater) so we’re looking at signings to keep our numbers up. 

Could be why we’re looking at Wilson.

Especially if the rumours are true and we’re looking to allow Morata to leave in January.

Then went until the end of season and give Tammy a chance with us rather than sending him out on loan. Aina can take Moses place and sell Zappacosta. Christensen stays, potentially buy Ake whose home-grown to replace Cahill. Do Ampadu and Hudson Odoi count at the moment as home grown now or they too young?. Not sure Fabregas is 100% leaving yet, not sure the home grown issue is bad as the Mail is making out.

The home grown issue is well over blown. 

2 home grown back up keepers, Christiensen, Barkley, and RLC.

We then have 17 foreign spots, which gives us a squad of 22, excluding all players under 21 like CHO and Ampadu, which is more than adequate, without have to drop £30m on players that will have very little impact here.
