I don't know if it is just because of a buyback clause in the contract but there are some rumors linking Thorgan Hazard with a return in the summer. I haven't watched him much recently but he is high in the charts for both goals and assists this season in the Bundesliga. Worth a go?

Silly SZN is here... saw on the twitters that Wilmar Barrios will play for Chelsea in 2019. Supposedly as the replacement for Fabregas. Granted, no idea how reliable this "source" is and being a gullible person that I am, I know it in my bones that it is true and he is the Colombian version of Claude Makelele and no one can convince me otherwise and if you try I will attack you very personally and blow things way out of proportion.

He looks worth consideration for me assuming we are a not in the market for Pusilic. They might be able to play together then again..................

Yes, particularly if it sways Eden's hand. Pulisic hasn't played particularly well this season TBH, so I would favour Thorgan over him.

Wouldn't fit Sarri's system at all.

He's a classic tough-tackling defensive midfielder, not a box-to-box midfielder or a Jorginho-like regista who can dictate the tempo of a match. Going forward he offers less than Kante does and his passing IMO is simply not good enough for Sarri's intricate possession-based play.

Or it might be one Hazard in, and another out sadly. Still if you look at the Bundesliga stats for this season Hazard compares very favorably to Pulisic and would probably be available at a much more reasonable price.

probably better matched with Fred at United

We should really look seriously at this guy for midfield. Goal scoring midfielder, but also can create and is technically proficient. Only issue being, Sporting have put a large price tag on him. 

 

Surely the time to get Sporting players was last summer, during all of that board chaos. Some great bargains to be had back then, Carvalho to Betis for example.

Hirving Lozano rumours are starting to build a bit of a momentum.

I quite like the look of what i have seen of him and defiantly strikes me as someone who could grow further under Sarri's management.

I don’t understand why we didn’t even make any effort? We may have, but there wasn’t any reports linking us to him at all.

With Fabregas looking like he’s off next month, Ramsey would have been an adequate replacement for him. Not a world beater, but a good squad player who would slot in Sarriball very well and he has a knack of scoring too.

Free. 

People say we need a goal scoring midfielder than we should bring this guy back already proven in prem I bet he is still better than Barkley and can make better forward passes than Jorginho who most of the time does sideways.

I would sell Drinkwater and Barkley to have him back he is perfect for Sarriball.

Imagine a midfield of :

                                            Kante/ Kovacic

               Loftus cheek                                               Oscar

Yes and he can feel at home with the others that get regularly crocked like RLC and Barkley.

No doubting his talent though.
