The only positive I can see here is if a move like this ultimately leads to CHO getting a genuine chance to develop as a player and gain top level first team experience before returning to us. Zero chance of a big club like Bayern giving us an option to buy.
January 3, 20197 yr If we get Lozano and Pusilic as replacements for Pedro and Willian, hopefully replacing Morata too, wouldn’t that make this month one of our best January windows ever?

For me not really if we sell CHO... Lozano/Pulisic are good players don't get me wrong but I don't think they'll go on to become the next Neymar/Mbappe like I believe CHO can. It will still be a good window though, if we sign a new CF (hopefully Mandzukic and Fekir). Edited January 3, 20197 yr by the special one

I know success in the Erevidisie doesn't always translate in the Premier League but he has also weighed in with a healthy number of goals for a winger.

I remember him at the World Cup, he looked quite good.
January 3, 20197 yr Lozano certainly has a lot of pace and energy for the press. I would rather we brought in Thauvin if he is available. 11 goals, 3 assists in 16 appearances in Ligue 1 this season. Can play RW. Definitely struggled in the PL with Newcastle, but we should be the last team that lets that bother us.
January 3, 20197 yr I would see Lozano replacing Willian on the right and he has a decent shot too. Recall him looking lively for Mexico in the WC.

January 3, 20197 yr Lozano reminds me of our beloved (to Atlanta) Miguel who is supposedly going to Newcastle

If we cant even do that, then I want at least 50-60m for CHO as anything less than that without a buyback seems unreasonable C'mon now, if he was at his peak currently he'd be £6m and there's hardly a guarantee he'll suddenly become Sancho.

Amadou Diawara is pushing for a January exit, but Napoli want €40m for the Fiorentina, Milan and Premier League target. The midfielder has made only 10 competitive appearances this season for a total 483 minutes of football. He does not seem to play a large part in Coach Carlo Ancelotti’s plans and is eager to move on. According to Radio CRC, Diawara and his entourage have been told he can only leave in January for €40m. Fiorentina and Milan are interested, but not at that price, so a Premier League option would seem more likely. He could reunite with Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea, while Everton have long been linked with Diawara. https://www.football-italia.net/132744/napoli-demand-€40m-diawara

January 4, 20197 yr Rumours of Morata going to Sevilla though he would prefer Madrid. The next point on this made me laugh subject to Chelsea finding another replacement. Loads of rumours now, Cesc can go if Chelsea find a replacement, we are in for Lozano etc. Bayern Munich reputedly offering 30m for Hudson-Odoi. Cahill to Fulham with Fosu-xxxx going back to Utd.
January 4, 20197 yr Just read that the Higuain chase is off as the there are too many complexities trying to get a deal done....hopefully we are looking elsewhere...maybe swap Morata for Costa as he would prefer Madrid to Seville.....just a thought

People seem to have forgotten he was always poor post Xmas.

True..but maybe he is just not happy there at the moment despite wanting to go back, remember the saying that the 'grass is always greener' but at least he would put himself about and scare the living daylights out of the opposition
