Hazard is having a very good season with Zulte Waregem. He has 15 goals and 20 assists in 49 games with them so far this season. I would really like to see him either return here or loaned out to a Premier League club next season. He is doing everything that is being asked of him right now and it would be wrong to ignore it.

Wondered what had happened to Piazon.  He was often running for Man of the Match in games he played, and then the second half of the season just seemed disastrous.  

 

I like Piazon, and have seen him live a  few times.  However, I'm not sure he'll ever make it at Chelsea.

Too soon for Bamford. He needs a loan spell in the PL at a newly promoted side or similar side to see how he copes.

So long as they are willing to play him in most games, defiantly. Otherwise he is better off as our third choice.

He won#t be 3rd choice though.

 

We'll likely sign someone like Costa as first choice. Lukaku as 2nd choice. and Torres or Ba or both will stay as 3rd choice.

Midfielder John Swift has today (Friday) joined Rotherham United on a season-long loan.

Swift, an England youth international, joined Chelsea as an Under-14 and has risen through the ranks, helping us to the FA Youth Cup in 2012 and the Premier League Under-21 title last season.

The 19-year-old made his first-team debut as a substitute in our victory at Cardiff City in May.

Just realized this week that I have six UEFA channels, for the Champions League & Europa League, that I thought you had to pay extra for but apparently not on DirectTV in the states. Basically it allows me to watch any and every Champions and Europa League match. I'm really hoping that I won't get a surprise from the cable bill.

 

So I will be watching Thorgan Hazard play today as Gladbach take on Villareal, really excited to see how he does/if he gets much game time. I will let everyone know following the match about what I see from him.
