sals Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Easy, the assist machine. He was everywhere on the field, loves to set up teammates, added bonus he even works hard defensively
Blueblur Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hazard. Phenomenal. Opposition players just don't know what to do with him when he hares at them with the ball. 2 premier league games, 5 assists. Puppet-master.
Ben Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hazard for me, very generous at the end again. Loved that, shows his natural instinct is to think about the team (unlike some - cough cough Sturridge). Our lack of a world class defensive midfielder does concern me though.
ace Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Torres for me. Got the winner. Joking, don't kill me. :)
chelseabootboy Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hazard was awesome also thought Torres had a good game 2 in 3 now this season.
Andreas Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hazard, no doubt. What a beast of a signing, this kid is the real deal. 5 Assists in 2 games, counting the 2 penos.
AlexTommo Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Should have buried it himself at the end. Would have been a well deserved goal.
Scott Harris Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 WHO THE HELL VOTED MIKEL ? Hazard easily MOTM , oustanding player.
The Moos Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 WHO THE HELL VOTED MIKEL ? Hazard easily MOTM , oustanding player. I did. He was really good today and since I figured everyone would vote for Hazard (who really deserves every vote he gets) I thought I'd go with someone else. Besides, the lad's been getting way too much s*it thrown at him so he deserves some credit.
SeanWB Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 WHO THE HELL VOTED MIKEL ? Hazard easily MOTM , oustanding player. Mikel I can forgive but Meireles? Hazard for me all day long. He has a knack for popping up and making his presence felt. At this rate Lampard will get the Golden boot from all the penalties!
PloKoon13 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hazard for me, the matchwinner for the second time in a week. Honourable mention to Mikel, who just about held us together in that awful first hour. To those who point out that we only scored after he went off, I say correlation does not necessarily imply causation.

HazardsLeftPeg Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hazard: 73 passes completed of 78 attempted (94%), 38/41 attacking third passes, 6 chances created, 3 assists.
TJB Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) I did. Besides, the lad's been getting way too much s*it thrown at him so he deserves some credit. I voted Hazard but I agree on Mikel. I'm not his biggest fan but he did well tonight (well in the 2nd half and bit of the first half that I saw anyway). Edited August 22, 2012 by TJB
That Boy Brandinho Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hazard. No question. Didn't fade in the second half like he did against Wigan, didn't allow Reading to hack him out of the match and also gave an effort defensively. Couldn't ask for much more.
Blueblur Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Mikel didn't play bad at all! Actually got himself forward a few time which was very weird to see. It was weird! I was rather alarmed when i saw it happen. It was like seeing Scholes make a tackle without getting a yellow card.
goose Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Thought Mikel had one of his better games tonight and seemed to be trying to move the ball a bit quicker. Hazard for MOTM, no one came close to him IMO.
BYRON Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I think we all know Hazard is going to be a great player for us, love seeing him on the ball, well done to Gary Cahill for getting the equaliser aswell.
2211 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hazard for me, he's just a great player already - his mission in life is just to help his team score.

bluedave Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I can't remember the last time I was as excited about a new signing as I am about Hazard. 21 years old now, imagine how good he'll be in 4 years time!
Carloseyebrow Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hazard again........Mikel played well , but in general (IMHO) he deserves most of the comments about his poor play. sorry.
Castiel Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Got to be Hazard. I think we may be watching Chelsea's first Ballon d'or winner.
Liam Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Obviously Hazard but Sturridge deserves a mention. Poor old Ian Harte didn't know what hit him!
