it has been a wonderful privilege to watch Frank give everything for the club.  breaking the record is a perfect reward for his commitment to Chelsea and puts him in the record books for ever.  probably our greatest player ever, i believe this record will stand for many, many years.

It isn't often in this day in age where you can share in a player's development, progression, success, grief, celebration and secession over a wonderful 10+ years, but it has been an absolute joy watching Frank and his family contributing so much to the club.

 

Well done Frankie - what a servant to the club, and I'm so happy that he's immortalised himself with Tambling in the club's annals.

What a player, what a gentlemen proof that some footballers have it all. Proud to say I saw his first game and next Sunday hopefully not his last. Two great goals today and once again gave Chelsea champs league football, a proper Chelsea living legend!  Super, Super Frank...........

Jose will ensure Frank gets a deal in the summer I am certain.

Once again today the geezer showed his class and the new Chelsea kids on the block how to do it under pressure.

You simply cannot buy experience and what he brings to younger players in attitude, fitness and dedication to improve his game is something no club can do without.

Without him today we would be looking down the barrel of a Champions League exit.

I can only congratulate Frank, he is by far the best midfield player Chelsea have ever had that goes without saying.

The grace he showed for Bobby Tambling, the heartfelt emotion for his mum in the post match interview brought tears to my eyes.

Not for the first time like Drogba when it mattered he came up trumps.
