Unbelievable. Some people are outright stupid, Torres, a superstar? Yeah, maybe a few years ago when he at least had a vague idea where the net is. Now, all I see is a lost boy.

I say offload him to the highest bidder asap. Done.

I heard something interesting this morning on Sky Sports News. The pundits were talking about Van Persie being at Utd but wanting to leave and how theres not a hope in hell of them recuperating anything near the 25mil they shelled out for him. A fee of 5mil was suggested by one of the panel just on the strength of freeing up his wages.

My point here is that if RVP is going to be sold off at such a low price and no doubt Citeh wll be off loading one or two out of fashion players for just as low a price, what chance do we have of making the issue with Torres a business one. We have all heard the Inter Milan rumour and if all that is holding that up is the wages difference then i say lets do it. Give him to them for free and balance the wages if thats all thats stalling it. Everyone involved with Football, be it from the people who get paid to work in the game to the ones who pay to watch it can now collectively admit that he is never going to do the business in a Chelsea shirt, so lets turn the page and start a new chapter without the glum spanish one.

P.S Have i really just taken part in ANOTHER thread about Floppes?

I was thinking this myself. With the money saved on his wages, that could balance out the same as receiving a transfer fee. Though some swallowing of pride will be required and I can't see us doing it sadly.

Use him as a leverage to get Costa. He is still the best player. His time will come.

All the above remarks are stupid and should be refrained at all level.

He must leave. Inter are you listening?

Inter Milan remain interested, general director Marco Fassone told Sky Sports:

"He is one of the names that interest us, as admitted by our president Erick Thohir in recent days. Then you will discover in due time who will be the player we will focus on."

Is anyone else starting to get that exciting feeling of perhaps never seeing Torres in a Chelsea shirt again?

Dropped to 3rd in the pecking order, only 4 league games left plus a few CL ties, this ordeal may already be over.

Most likely, Inter Milan will ask Chelsea to share a burden over Torres' salary.

The days when Italian clubs afford high-salary-football-players have long gone.

I'm expecting him to start to either the home game to Sunderland or the away match to Atletico.... I just don't see him being sidelined until the end of the season personally especially as Eto'o fades towards the end of matches so even just to keep him fit and fresh I think Torres will still see more minutes from now to the end of the season.

Whether or not he scores again though...Doubtful.

Will inter actually buy him? I'm just a little worried it is a joke

A loan with an option to buy at the end would be my guess, I also assume we would supplement his wages as part of the loan agreement as well but apparently it's all dependent on Inter securing European football (Europa League), they need to finish at least 5th in the league which is where they are at the moment with 5 games left with Parma just 2 points behind them.
