I thought Mikel looked really good (as usual) during the parts I saw.

Cech by far. Mikel did ok.

Cech, Mikel and Ivan in that order.

Cech , still the best keeper in the world.

Thought Hazard put in a great shift too. Mata was slightly invisible.

Cech easily but Mikel, Ivan, Terry Ramires and to an extent Hazard were average which doesn't say a lot for the rest...thats what should give us hope for the return leg, we had five players looking well under par tonight.

Time for a Cahil Terry partnership and I still think January we need a couple of players if this season is to bring us more silverware.

Yep Cech was excellent, few decent performances but nothing special by any means.

Luiz and Torres were particularly poor. Would also like to see more of Cahill, very rarely has a bad game.

Mikel has come a long way under Robbie. Such composure on the ball at times, It's good that a manager has given him faith and now he's becoming an even better player.

That's exactly what I was thinking. For Cech to be given Man of the Match without a poll being held will mean he won't be included in the statistics - massive tantrum time there!

re Cech: last week my grandson told me he wanted the new Cech jersey for his birthday. "No problem, sweetheart," says doting Granma! Got home, looked it up on the Official site and promptly had a mini seizure at the price!
