Well we seem to make big money off a player every window and I think Cech is will bring in something decent in the Summer. I have no doubts that Jose played him in the final to give him a last final here.

Yeah but depends on contract length. Maybe we could get him to sign a new deal.

I don't think it's a foregone conclusion cech will leave next season.

Not surprising and we've all been saying it for a while but it'll be sad to see him go. Hopefully he gets the send-off he deserves at the end of the season.

 

Jose handled this one perfectly because it could've gone so wrong. A couple of times he dropped Courtois unnecessarily, especially the League Cup Final, but it's all worked out as well as could be expected.

 

Who's going to be brought in then? Preferably English and experienced so for me, Green or Ruddy.

Just hope he doesn't end up at Liverpool.

I don't care what anyone says, Petr Cech has been the best goalkeeper the Premier League has ever seen. He has been so consistent for so long.

 

Hopefully we can wrap up the title before the final few games of the season and give Cech the remainder of the games. He deserves it.

But still, who would you want in goal given the choice, Cech or Mignolet? There's only a few clubs Cech could go to where he wouldn't be an upgrade on their current keeper. I'm yet to be convinced Courtois is an upgrade. Hopefully he'll end up somewhere like Real or PSG.

That record is such a pointless one to have though when you consider the person who holds it played about twice as many games as Petr. He's statistically the best the premier league has ever seen and definitely in the top three (top two in my opinion). Hopefully Courtois can exceed what he's done.

Cech is a legend for me. What a player he has been for us... we would miss him. I would have definitely wanted him to stay for rest of his career here... but he's too good a player to be playing bit part role. He's possibly in top 5 GK's in the world. He's deserves to be starting every game for a top team.

 

I couldn't blame Jose or our club either, their making a wise move imo. Courtois is just too good at such a young age possibly the best GK in the world, it will be much more beneficial for our club for longer run in with Courtois than Cech. He can be here for more than 10 years.

 

Cech we will miss you, you'll always be a hero for us! I hope you go in a top club like Real Madrid, not to those scummy clubs like Arsenal or Liverpool.

But seriously I wouldn't blame you if you went there either, you have earned your right to choose which ever club you want...

Surely it would depend on whether they get De Gea or not. If they don't, then it becomes a no brainer for Real. Reasonably cheap, world class keeper that is available.

Shame, legends like Cech, Lamps and Cole should retire with us, at Chelsea.
