A much more encouraging interview with Lukaku here, not only committing himself to chelsea, but making it clear he loves Jose and is looking to return next season...hopefully this will reassure some people

Great read and apparently from Lukaku himself, it was he who wanted to leave and Mourinho wanted him to stay. Best part for me is when he says he wants to come back to Chelsea and become the best ever.

just read this story too. nice to see him come out and clarify things. i dont think many doubted that he wanted to return, but ambiguous interviews didnt help, when he said things about staying at everton if they were in the champs league etc. glad he's put it all to bed and now can concentrate on the rest of the season with less of the negative attention on him

He's been woeful for the majority of the time I've watched him, despite scoring goals. He looks laboured, slow, lethargic...throws his arms about when he doesnt get the ball. Hopefully just immaturity.

I'd take his goals in a heartbeat at Chelsea, but he still looks a sub to me.

People keep saying he doesn't do enough etc yet he's playing better than either of our current options. I do feel he should have stayed and fought for his place but the year out at Everton van only be a good thing for his development. People also speak about him having alot to learn but he can only do that by playing in our team regularly with Mourinho guiding him.

Had a really good game today. Played some nice passes in both the opponent and his own half, played one great cross field ball to Coleman when he was being pressured by two players. 

 

The goal he scored wasn't one you would associate with someone who hadn't scored in 5 games. No hesitation whatsoever, he just had the confidence to smack it. I was expecting it to go flying over the bar given his lack of goals. 

 

After he scored he did some very nice dribbling which you'll probably see on MOTD, looked like a completely different player. 

Good to see him back on the scoresheet, even though it means Everton are still putting pressure on chelsea

I'd have Lukaku in the side long before Ba, who I think is a woeful player.

To be fair if they showed all Hazard skill in that game they wouldn't of been enough time to show the other games.
