Jesus, that starts so far wide if it hadnt curled in it could have ended up an own goal....

Good player but his passing can be sloppy at times and still loses the ball a bit too much for my liking. Also a bit worried about the two footed lunges he seems to make from time to time.

Great news. Tuned out for half of last season after being one of our most important players, but seems to have added something to his game this season. Ferocious in defence and increasingly imposing himself in attack.

Played well over 100 games already, new contact takes him up to the age of 28, very happy that he's extended his contract.

 

I'm a huge fan of his personally and look forward to seeing him rack up a few hundred more games in a blue shirt. 

 

His Chelsea career totals to date are 92 starts and 34 sub appearances, with 27 goals.
