Looking slimmer hazard

Remember there was a time Chelsea fans hated Hazard around those PSG games last season? So fickle. Hazard's fans from the start should only be given a right to praise him I feel, you cant start to like a player, hate him when he's down and like him when he's back to form again, especially when we're talking about one of the best players in the world.

I think it's a bit much to say that "Chelsea fans hated Hazard".  A few perhaps, there were a few on here but i  certainly don't know any personally.  A few more were frustrated with him and wondered whether he was not trying 100% but most were always appreciative of what a player he is and hoped he'd get through it.

I do remember that also him being called "rat lazy lets cash in on him Ditch him he wants to leave for Madrid" . I never changed my view on hazard always backed him and yes some fans stated they hated him.

I do wonder where that lovely lady is who had that badly made sign regarding hazard Costa and Cesc

Ive never hated him but i certainly like him a lot less now than i did before last season. he wasn't willing to fight when the chips were down and that says more about a mans character than a guy who plays well in a team that is performing. No amount of good performances will ever undo that season in my eyes, but everyone is different. we dont all have to love everyone who pulls on the blue shirt

Still can't stand him. If Real comes in with a load of money I would be very happy to sell. Can't trust him one bit.

Agree in general but I was so fond of thing I think it hurt more when he downed tools but then it came out he was carrying an injury and maybe Mou feeling the pressure transferred a lot of it to his star player, I've forgiven him but the bromance isn't as strong 

Phenomenal player! Deserves the Player of the month award, but I bet he won't get it again. 

The entire team underperformed simply because the guy in charged lost his head you can still see it now at his other club to believe this was all Hazard fault is very short sighted several players came out and stated the atmosphere was poisoned by him.. Hazard had an injury and this was clearly noted when he got a rest from guss and came back stronger and since then he's only been getting better and better. If you are ill and your boss screams at you to come in and work am pretty sure you will be less inclined to do "f*#k" all

You really need to move on from the disaster that was last season. It sounds as if you wrongly blame it all on Hazard.

You might not be able to "trust" him but he is clearly our best player and our key player. Without Hazard we are not the same team. Conte has him happy again and back to his best - just enjoy.

Conte has taken off Jose's leash and Hazard is back playing his natural game.

Who said it was all Hazard's fault?

I've always maintained that on form, he's without a doubt the best player in the league.

If he had the right mentality, he would be top 5 in the world.

Fans blamed is lack of form last is him all the blame was pointed to Hazard when is form dipped which nowt we know it appears he had an injury and needed to rest.... Now best player in the league

I don't know how anybody could actually like a player who went from player of the season to not scoring in over 30 games with the click of a finger. The fact that for a year he was willingly letting the club fall into the relegation places makes me really not like him.

But hang on a minute, the season before last we won the league and he was our POTS.

Doesn't that count for anything ?

Shouldn't it take a long time before you forget that season as well ?

Or do you only remember the bad times ?

The whole team were awful last season, not just Eden. Who may I remind you, suffered and played through an injury under Jose which certainly didn't help, hence the rest from Hiddink.

Yes the likes of Hazard, Cesc & Costa shone out as poor last season, because of the high standards they set themselves.

I'm sure Hazard and Chelsea received offers in the summer, and the easy way out would be too have handed in a transfer request and left, but he didn't. He said he wants to leave Chelsea 'like a boss', how can you not 'trust' that kind of statement?

We have one of (if not the) best player in the league, playing under a new manager who has given him the licence to play to his strengths. He's in great form and is enjoying his football. You should sit back, admire and appreciate the talent before he ultimately leaves and you realise what a player he is.

He's just trolling Hazard and Costa without them we wouldn't be where we are at the moment and I Hazard a guess (pun intented) he will sign a new contract

That was completely cancelled out when he gave up last season. The long term affects of last season could potentially be more lasting then the title winning season. He seriously nearly left the club in a Liverpool like state where we are struggling to get back into the top 4. Fortunately Conte has saved his arse. 

 

It will take a lot longer then a couple of games for me to forget that.

Courtois I could not give a sh*t about. Sell or keep I'm not bothered, he will never live up to Cech in my opinion.

 

Costa is a complete dick for what he did with Mourinho  and I stand by that completely. I'm a bit softer on Costa because he has performed magnificently since the turn of the year and was a big part of us getting out of our rut. He has also been our standout player this season too and has been the reason why we are one point off the top far more then Hazard has.

I'm sorry I really don't like arguing with people on here, as ultimately we're all Chelsea fans. But these are some of the strangest views on our club I've ever encountered.

You sound like a Mourinho fan rather than a Chelsea one. That era is over, he's moved on and as have we. We have an exciting coach with new ideas that currently are working better than anything tried in the past two seasons. Four wins and four clean sheets, enjoy this period of great performances and get behind the team as opposed to shunning them in the way you are.

By all means continue with the cloud of negativity, this is only my opinion but there we go that's what forums are for :)
