That was completely cancelled out when he gave up last season. The long term affects of last season could potentially be more lasting then the title winning season. He seriously nearly left the club in a Liverpool like state where we are struggling to get back into the top 4. Fortunately Conte has saved his arse.

It will take a lot longer then a couple of games for me to forget that.

Don't get me wrong, Costa, Fabregas, Matic and Courtois are all equally in my bad books. The rest are either over the hill, average to begin with or actually performed well all things considered.

I'm absolutely delighted that Fabregas has been shut out the way he has been. It's all he deserves for last season and also his lack of effort is like a disease in midfield.

Matic is in a similar position to Hazard, although he isn't half as talented so his drop in form wasn't as great as Hazards, meaning I don't judge him as harshly.

Courtois I could not give a sh*t about. Sell or keep I'm not bothered, he will never live up to Cech in my opinion.

Costa is a complete dick for what he did with Mourinho  and I stand by that completely. I'm a bit softer on Costa because he has performed magnificently since the turn of the year and was a big part of us getting out of our rut. He has also been our standout player this season too and has been the reason why we are one point off the top far more then Hazard has.

How can you say 'thankfully conte saved his arse' when you are insinuating mourinho had nothing to do with hazards poor form, and he just down tools and was happy to see us slide down the table?

Hazard had a poor season, not out of choice, these things happen in football.

Mourinho tried to do what he thought was best for team, which may not have helped hazard play to his strengths, conte is also doing what he thinks is best for the team, which seems to help bring the best out of hazard.

I dont really get the anger towards individuals over last season. everyone at the club wants to win and wants to be the best, but everyone under perfomed last season, players, management, and board.

People always forget it is actually a team effort and team-game. If Matic plays badly it makes Hazard and Cahill look bad. If Moses lets guys through and doesn't help Azpi, Dave looks bad and so on.

Hazard was as bad as anyone last term from our crop. Willian and Azpi probably only stood out as positives from a season to forget.

It is very smart from Conte to play us 3-4-3 as it gives Haz almost too much space from opponents half as we have seen for the last 4 league games. Jose for example did no such manouvre.

Fans blamed is lack of form last is him all the blame was pointed to Hazard when is form dipped which nowt we know it appears he had an injury and needed to rest.... Now best player in the league

So you didnt see the criticism for Ivanovic, fabregas, costa, matic, courtois then? Everybody was criticised last year, not just hazard

PFA Fans’ Premier League Player of the Month. A world class player given the right kind of trust, the right kind of support and he delivers. Who would have thought?

Those who turned against three players in particular with no credible evidence to do so, are an embarrassment and have no right whatsoever to keep calling themselves Chelsea fans.

I've deleted part of your post, I'm sure you are capable of expressing yourself without being macabre.

Literally one dude in this thread. Keep on your crusade.

Who would of thought? Dunno, whoever managed him towards this:

And what happened next?

Why was so much responsibility for our attacking play placed on the shoulders of Hazard? A player good enough to take us to the title with a superhuman effort, but where was the long term thinking? Where was the evidence of a manager building a formidable attacking unit that could serve us well beyond the short term?

Mourinho virtually wore the poor kid out, and even worse, deemed what would have been a great supporting cast in Mata and De Bruyne as surplus to requirements. The former is now saving his arse at United, while the latter looked pretty special again last night, this time against arguably the best team in the world, Barcelona. And he was ours for £6m until the asset stripper did his thing and asset stripped.

And why did Costa go from of Europe's most feared strikers, to a player who barely scored during the year 2015? The longer Mourinho had with him, the less effective he became. All the evidence is there.

Bad management, that's what is is.

Hazard suffered through having to carry the whole of our attack, whilst burning out and being shackled at the same time. Costa suffered because an idiot channeled his talents and aggression in completely the wrong way.

And if we're doing pictures, here's one.

And to think a certain bunch of fans tried to blame him and two other players for all of our ills last seasons and wanted them out of our club, when Mr Sh**ypants sat squatting in the corner, curling one out after another, stinking up the place until he was finally flushed down the toilet and the Febreze was brought out.

You're wrong in the head pal. I think you need to go see someone.

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

I happen to think you're a plastic supporter, a sheep, and with no offence intended, a bit of a simpleton.

Yes and everybody wanted the players out yet the same players barring Kante Alonso and Moses are now unbeaten in 4 no goals conceded and looking formidable so its pretty clear where the issue was last season.

A lot of fans forget the second half of our title winning season the signs were there that we were having issues our first half of the season performance helped us dramatically in the second half we didn't finish with a flurry we ducked skip bobed over the finished line like a boxer in the 12th round

In the January that season we were level on points with City so it didn't help that dramatically. Then we ducked skipped and bobbed over the finish line with like 3 games to spare

We were 5 points ahead of city on January 31st 2015 just going into the second half of the season and finished 8 ahead which would have been far less had the others didn't slip up as much... So yes we struggled second half we were extremely defensive even at home

Right... so when you said it was only Hazard that got blamed, you were ignoring the fact that everybody also blamed the rest of the team then. Good.

Not sure if you're Hazard's PR manager, but you certainly seem obsessed with his image among the supporters. If some supporters dislike him, so what? It doesnt mean theyre not 'real' fans. Don't take it personally.

Still the old arguments about him downing tool and not able to forgive him. Last season is gone and Im sure many really don't care why he wasn't up to it last year ( maybe his dog died or something, who cares?). He's a class player and it's a privilege to watch him play in that lovely blue color. Must be a cold hearted bast*rd to watch Eden right now and not have 'bro' love for him.

Can't we move on from last season ffs? It was depressing enough at the time, why go through it again and again? Most important thing is players like hazard have clearly got over it, so should we

Not his PR nor did I ever say people who hate him still or want to see the club sell him now are not real fans just calling a spade a spade I would defend Costa, Cesc Matic just like I am defending Hazard now simple because these players didn't down tools as the media or who ever was spreading that garbage want fans to believe whatever happened may never come out one thing is certain Hazard was injured and there was a clear disconnect with the past manager and the players as can be seen now. New manager New philosophy players given trust and freedom and surprise surprise they are getting back in form

I don't know how anybody could actually like a player who went from player of the season to not scoring in over 30 games with the click of a finger. The fact that for a year he was willingly letting the club fall into the relegation places makes me really not like him.

It will take a long time for him to redeem himself in my eyes. That season will be hard to forget.

You know the ins and outs of what happened? It was a terrible season, granted, but a number of things contributed to the abysmal form. I can't believe that you're stating Hazard willingly dragged us in to the relegation zone, that's pathetic, you sound like a troll or a very spoilt fan, it's the same rubbish I was hearing on 5live recently, just spoilt fans who can't get over last season and move on.

Floyd 25, when you read a post that conflicts with reality, this is the only way to think.

I don't agree with his point, but my problem with that season was with a lot of players just not looking like they care or are trying... For example when I see the likes of Azpi working their ass off, even if they make mistakes -- they can be forgiven. I felt fairly bitter towards the players who were walking around on the pitch, looking like they don't care.

Had a very strange dream last night where Hazard went for a shot, got his foot caught in the ground, his, body twisted and ripped his whole leg off.

So FYI, if that happens this weekend then I'm the Chosen One.
