November 24, 20169 yr This is fun. I'm really liking their chemistry this season. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3966554/Eden-Hazard-Thibaut-Courtois-Nathaniel-Chalobah-beat-David-Luiz-Willian-Victor-Moses-Chelsea-ups-skills-challenge.html
November 26, 20169 yr http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3973468/Eden-Hazard-taken-shots-season-did-entirety-last.html WOW. Assuming that is true, that speaks volumes of not only how underwhelming he was, but just in general shows how he has been way too passive before this season. The amount of times I see him go past players but then lay of a pass just frustrates me because you know if he has that same mindset such as the likes of Sanchez, Ronaldo, Messi, he would be scoring bagful. He just needs to have the mindset that he is capable of scoring every game and go for the killer instinct. Because if he really keeps up with his more 'selfish' approach, we can see him getting 20 goals a season easily imo.
November 28, 20169 yr He promised October is not the last time he will be Player of the Month. And he's in a good form.
November 28, 20169 yr LOL! What do you think of this? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3979030/Tottenham-Hotspur-nearly-signed-Luis-Suarez-Eden-Hazard-claims-ex-manager-Harry-Redknapp.html
December 5, 20169 yr You know I haven't seen many things said about Hazard'a goal on Sat. He was deadly, went with pace and power wasn't gonna get caught and even tricked the keeper with a terrific killer finish. I feel like last year he'd have slowed down on that and waited for a player to pass into.

Put the afterburners on and left Kolorov for dead, didnt even give him the chance to bring him down which I was suspecting Kolorov would've done. I think the reason he didnt get the credit for his goal was due to his his miss in the first half, still cant believe he tried squaring the ball rather than slotting it home with his weaker foot.
December 5, 20169 yr I'd love to know see a comparison after the same amount of games in the 14-15 season to this one. Although we were in the CL that season.
December 5, 20169 yr He's finally showing the sort of goal scoring form a player of his quality should be delivering. Would love for him to score around 15 goals in the league this season, would be a great return from him. Surprisingly though, just the one assist from him so far.

At this point i would be disappointed if he only got 15 league goals this season. He has 8 already, he should definitely be hitting the 20 goal mark.
December 5, 20169 yr Didn't he say he would or wants to win the league again for Chelsea before he leaves?. Kind of dont want to win the league now.

Where would he go though? Real Madrid have a transfer ban and Barca have Messi, Neymar and Suarez, so I can't see them spending the amount of money it would take to get Hazard. Doubt that he would go to another team in England, PSG aren't as attractive as they used to be, Bayern generally don't spend that kind of money, Juve don't have the pull to get a player like him from a club like us. I'm pretty certain that this won't be Hazard's last season for us, and if we build a team that is capable of competing for the highest honours I don't see why he shouldn't stay even longer. He clearly likes the club and feels connected with it (kissing the badge again just last game), he plays in an interesting, competitive league, gets to live in London, we have enough money to keep him happy... Only danger I see is him wanting to experience another (football) culture, or the possibility of linking up with his former idol Zidane, but due to Madrid's ban, that's far in the future, so let's not worry about it now.

That s the frustrating thing about assists. It really does not tell the whole story. For instance Matic has more assists but Hazard has created more. Look at Hazard's great turn away from Otamendi and he set up Costa perfectly however he fluffed his shot. That would have been a perfect assist. When we lost to Arsenal 3-0, he also set up Willian brilliantly however unfortunately he missed. I think there is a moment every game where Hazard sets up one of our players but it is not converted a lot of times. Either way, I think he has been player of the season so far along with Costa. Sanchez closely behind.
December 5, 20169 yr Chances created is a better stat than assists, Hazard is usually very high on that which is no surprise.

December 5, 20169 yr No wonder he is scoring lots more this season. Under Mourinho he was basically taking up the position where you would find Alonso at the moment when we attack and have the ball. Now he's almost always in the danger area for the oppositon. Last season any old rightback could contain him since he started so deep and had loads of defensive duties. This season his average position has been infront of even Diego Costa in at least half our games.
