That's a difficult one, Tibbers!

I don't know.

But I expect a lot. No! I will claim a lot.

Nondejuu! (Something between Eden and me. He understands nondejuu.)

Best Squawka Performance Score in Europe's top 5 leagues: E. Hazard (1,178) L. Messi (1,173) M. Hamsik (1,078) A. Sanchez (998)

Watching the Barca game right now et voila those stats kind of make sense. One game makes a poor benchmark, but even during his bad games Hazard contributes more than Messi does today.

I am not going to point my finger at anyone, but we have to show some respect and gratitude for having this amazing player at our club.

That's great stats , but unfortunately the average modern day fan only accepts winger's who shoot 20 times a game to score once.

I did always wonder how Andros Townsend keeps getting work.

I don't think anyone can deny that Hazard was awful against Wolves. I think it's a little worrying that he seems to completely disappear at times.

Sounds familiar...

I hope Hazard doesn't become like Drogba and only bothers turning up in the big games, he needs to terrorise the small teams as well.

I think it's great that we aren't solely reliant on him being the difference in games now.

I also think, and this is just speculation, but the amount of space some of our players had against wolves and the amount others didn't have showed that A) wolves were clearly more determined in their marking of some players (hazard) and B) Conte may have seen this coming and used Hazard as a decoy to an extent.

I understand what your saying but looking towards the future I can't see it working too well. You need other creative players in the team. This will be disputed by the large majority of Chelsea fans but I see this season very similar to Leicester winning it last season with no European football and every other team f****** it up. Leicester had Vardy, Mahrez and Kante with a well drilled and organised defence which counter attacks. Chelsea have Hazard, Costa and Kante with a well drilled defence which also counter attacks.

To win a second title on the trot is very very difficult and having European football to deal with will be a big factor. I trust Conte totally to make the right signings and change the team how he wants it in the summer. Currently this team relies totally on Hazard for creativity, Fabregas doesn't play, Willian and Moses dont know creativity if it hits them in the face, Pedro is more of a goal scorer.

Another reason the second season is harder is because teams find you out as they say and will defend accordingly, this current Chelsea team relies on taking the lead and then counter attacking.

Probably wrong to look towards the future but I see Chelsea totally reliant of Hazard and Costa. Fabregas will leave in the summer if his not in the first team, his just to good for a bench player. After all that the point is I think Chelsea do lack creativity and it will be worse next year when Chelsea play the best in Europe and both Manchester Clubs will be at and extra level.

If I was an opposition manager I would always say mark Hazard out the game and let Willian, Moses, Matic, Kante have the ball.

Guys a magician.

Even when he has a bad game he takes out at least 2 of the opposition having to mark him and watch him. Freeing others up.

Would always have him in a starting XI for that fact alone.

We used our 'Magic hat' song on the wrong player (although Cesc is somewhat magic).

Hazard's the most magical player we've ever had, Zola was something, but Eden is something else, has to be the Prem's player of the decade (teenies?) for me.

He has three goals that could all be goal of the season, the solo effort against Le Arse, and the goals against Spuds and the one against the dippers.

But what i love the best about him is his ability to leave other players on their arses without touching them, who needs nutmegs when you have that in your magic hat, little Eden smallest player on the pitch leaving all these players in his wake as he dribbles up the pitch, it's real life Roy of the Rovers stuff with Eden.

Everton, Southampton, Leicester, West Ham, Burnley and Bournemouth he was our best player by far in those games. He was brilliant.

Like I have read many times world class on his day but not a world class player. Hasn't been consistent for a long time which world class players are. Also read people say he hasn't doesn't have the drive to push himself to the top which I do agree with. I don't blame him for it because there's all sorts of people in different jobs who don't push themselves.

Of course a very talented player but it was quite obvious he had no interest against wolves.

But then he has had several MOTM performances against mid-table/relegation battling teams this season plus the bigger teams which I refuted.

Very true, that's fair enough. I can also see why some people say he isn't world class though. I saw Cundy say the same thing on Arsenal fan tv.
