June 7, 201313 yr I' m not saying i told you, but somewhere in here, i wrote, he only has to be a bit more selfish, and shoot more, and we would have a player like Messi, looks like he wants 50-60 goals a season, Bale in the Worlds top 3, watch this space....

June 7, 201313 yr I would imagine that is a small minority rather than a majority opinion - he is talented enough to warrant being selfish at times. Judging by the one Belgian person I've ever talked to about football, they are more concerned about Lukaku's lack of technique.

That seems to be the major worry, but he's improved his technique greatly over the last season.

Eddie says: "My dream is 50 or even 60 goals like Lionel Messi and Ronaldo" and "They have shown it is possible, so I can do the same.", yet the headline is: "Eden Hazard: I'll score 60 goals next season under mystical Mourinho". There is a little difference saying it would be a dream and thinking it could be done than it's to say he WILL do it.

June 14, 201313 yr That's BS, i'm belgian and he is our favorite player everybody love him Not really, Last week every newspaper titled hazard most likely will keep the bench warm under Mourinho. As anyone can see, Hazard was one of our most important players last season. they have no clue about his potential word class

June 15, 201313 yr the funny thing about all this, in belgium the fans don't rate himfor being too selfish. what a laugh. Stars of smallish or historically unsuccessful nations often divide opinion. Half will love them and the rest will resent them. See Zlatan in Sweden or Roy Keane in Ireland as examples.

June 18, 201313 yr Ive seen people say Oscar is more talented than Hazard and im just not seeing it. Oscar is a gem no doubt but Hazard is just something else. Hazard is very inconsistent, but on his day hes unplayable.

Hazard is very inconsistent, but on his day hes unplayable. In terms of raw natural talent I think Hazard is the better player. In a flash he can produce a single moment of brilliance that can turn a game on its head. But Oscar I think this coming season it's going to up his game a level that will see him dictating games a lot more.
June 18, 201313 yr Ive seen people say Oscar is more talented than Hazard and im just not seeing it. Oscar is a gem no doubt but Hazard is just something else. Hazard is very inconsistent, but on his day hes unplayable. My view is that Hazard is more talented but Oscar has the most potential. He's a complete midfielder, can pass, shoot, tackle and do just about everything you need to be a top drawer all round midfielder. He reminds me of Schweinsteiger in many ways, that's certainly the role I'd like him to have with us. Hazard excels in his role though, which is in the final third. A Liverpool fan I know that goes Anfield often said Hazard was the best player he'd seen live all of last season. He said his turn of pace, dribbling ability and ball control was second to none. Carragher also said Hazard was the best player he'd faced last season.
June 18, 201313 yr My view is that Hazard is more talented but Oscar has the most potential. He's a complete midfielder, can pass, shoot, tackle and do just about everything you need to be a top drawer all round midfielder. apart from tackling, everything oscar can do, hazard can do better. i also see hazard as more intelligent and creative. i mean that backheel in the europa league, i was just stunned thinking where the f**k did that come from. at the end of their careers i think hazard will be considered clearly the better player and btw, for purposes of this discussion arent talent and potential the same?
June 18, 201313 yr Hazard certainly has fewer holes in his game. Hazard is borderline elite, if he's not already there. Oscar is only world class at this point. But he's obviously got the potential to be an elite player.
June 18, 201313 yr Judging by KDB loan and his performances for Belgium he is going to be right up there as well with Hazard for me.Oscar,Hazard,Mata and KDB is just scary and bloody exciting.
