Few contenders for that second half performance. The pick were Mikel, Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Ramires & Luiz.

 

Luiz get's it just ahead of Ramires for me as he showed the passion and drive we needed. He started the come back and made a number of magnificant interveptions.

Few good performances but yet again, Mata was head and shoulders above the rest. (not literally, obviously).

 

Best part of the match was when RVP came on. 

 

"She said no, robin!, She said no!"

Luiz played a solid game today.. Hazard and Mikel subs made the big difference but without luiz we would be screwed... 

Hazard, soon as he came on the United players were bricking it.

Think I'll give it to Mata with Oscar a close second. Hazard did very well when he came on too.

I think anyone voting for anyone other than Hazard watched the wrong game, before he came on we were out of it and his moment of magic changed the entire game, not to mention that he then dictated the next 30 minutes of the game.

Luiz for me. Gotta keep it up though.

 

I was wondering what happened to the MOTM thread. We didn't get one for the West Brom, Middlesbrough or Steaua.

Easiet MOTM choice of the season........................... our away support.

 

Every single one of them superb. Really, really loud abuse of Benitez and constant backing for the team. Who says you can't do both??

 

They have set the bench mark for the rest of us, especially all those who go to the home games at the Bridge.

 

 

 

My player vote goes to Hazard. Why wasn't he on from the start?

There's a strong case to be made for Mata and Hazard, but there's no denying the lift Hazard gave us when he came on. His superb and important goal clinches it for me. 

luiz for me, his timing was near perfect today and especially second half he kept us putting pressure on the united defence.

if mata had stuck in that chance, that came from a luiz interception and inch perfect ball. needs to keep it going now and be a leader.

when hazard came on the team really started to tick he definitely brings the bedt out of mata who bossed the game second half.

ramires was good as well and the fact mikel had a good game I think allowed ramires to to make the decisive runs which were such a weapon last season.

Luiz, Ramires and Mata were all magnificent second half . Luiz was the driving force behind the revival so inches it for me.

The Chelsea faithful who made the trip, great support, who says we don't get behind our team, even a 2-0 down they gave there all.

 

The standard is set, lets keep this going Home and Away, to the end ladies and gentlemen to the end!

Hazard for me, some great performances in the second half.

 

The 3 Amigos was all great today, imagine how good we could be if we decide to buy a top central midfield player to do all the donkey work for them.

Very tough not to automatically go to Hazard for his second half impact, but I have to give my nod to Mata.

 

Fantastic all game, and in the first half seemed to be the only one bothered.

Mata, but Ramires & Hazard were class in the 2nd half. Ramires plays a lot better with Mikel holding..

I think Mikel isnt getting half the credit he deserves easily better than lamps or ramires despite his goal

Hazard for me as he (once again) was the game-changer. Mata, Mikel, Ramires and Luiz are all worthy of mention too.

 

Interesting to see that Lampard got a vote as I thought he was atrocious!

We improved hugely when Mikel came on for Lamps too..
