The father of footballers Gary and Phil Neville has been arrested on suspicion of indecent assault.

There are two girls that I see regularly on the train to work who my mate nicknamed the Neville's, not complimentary but bloody funny.

Fail to see why this is in the sporting section of papers.  Are we supposed to assume that Gary of Phil are in some way related to the event instead of just a person involved in it?  Will you also let me know if his mum wins the local pie making contest?  Thought it was classless behaviour when it was Terry family's dirty air being put into the the public spot light purely to ruin their son's image.  Oddly enough now that it's the Neville's being targeted, I still feel the same way.  What value is any of that information to me as a sports fan?  Put it in the appropriate section if you want to publish it and have any appearance of integrity in the matter.  Otherwise it's clearly just throwing mud and stones with no objective purpose.

The only news worthy thing here is that he's called Neville Neville. Can't have had an easy life.

 

Don't care about his assault allegation. He's not a public figure, hasn't sought publicity, I don't know or care about him.

..and as Phillip said, he hasn't been found guilty yet.  For all we know it may be a malicious accusation.
