Van Ginkel to Chelsea

Featured Replies

Essien managed to recover the first time he did his cruciate, it's only that he's done it three times that he now looks a shadow of the player he once was.

Ruud Van Nistleroy had a really nasty one just before he joined United as well.

I've got my fingers crossed for the lad.

I hate to be a pessimist as I wish the best for this chap...but can you think of any player who has had such a serious injury and came back to their best?

I know Aaron Ramsey had a serious leg break, with age on his side he is very lucky.

Google Adrian Peterson MVP

I dare say there are a lot of top footballers who have had to endure a serious injury at one point of their career and have come back from it well, and as you say the younger the better in terms of recovery. The important thing is to make sure he recovers fully and properly before throwing him back in, and given that he's not a necessity in the team right now there is no reason why we can't take every precaution with him before he returns.

Until then i'll keep him in my avatar so that he's not forgotten!

He's 18, there's every chance he will make a full physical recovery.

Time machine?

As i have said before i think he will be loaned out next season. I think he will need to play games week in and week out to recover and going out on loan to the right team he will get that.

Van Ginkel is an absolute beast in FIFA 14. It's funny because he's only rated as 76, but he plays more like an 83! My midfield two of Ramires and Van Ginkel are almost unbeatable!

Really hope he recovers from his injury ASAP and has a run in the team. But like Uno says, it's probably best he gets playing time on loan.

oscar probably wont be first choice anymore. hell be pushed out by de bruyne or schurrle i think. schurrle might offer more from the wing and de bruyne is just a better player

It's too bad we're not selling Oscar to Wolfsburg instead then.

Poative signs, add stress ans weight to it so he cant be too far away. 2 months tops I reckon before he is full training agsin

good to see him recovering well. Hopefully he will fit until the end of the season and get some games under his belt.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ! MARCO VAN GINKEL !

Hope we don't plan on loaning this lad out next season.

He could be the 'paul scholes' we're looking for. Minus the ginger pubes.
