June 2, 201412 yr Well if he came here he would only be an injury prone player, but now that Lampard is gone I can't see him having any injuries if you know what I mean. Seriously though, he is a good player and Barcelona didn't turn out to be the right move for him. Cesc just doesn't have the patience like his team mates do, he may have the ability but his heart didn't seem in it, tika taka isn't all that great as some make it seem out to be. It would be interesting to see him back in the Premier League, I don't think he has declined at all. He maybe a twat but as long as he has a positive attitude whilst playing for us and causes no trouble then I don't see why not, of well of course there is the price tag, as for that little or (big) thing it's definitely something I would consider. If we can get him for cheaper than what Barcelona bought him for, say about 30 million at most I would go for it, anything over that then don't bother, go in a different direction. We can get other midfielders that will be younger and cheaper should it come to that.

June 2, 201412 yr There is something that I just don't like about him. Maybe its because of his association with one of our rivals but I just don't want him at the Bridge. Bit like when we were linked with Rooney, i appreciate the talent but think they're just c**ts! Edited June 2, 201412 yr by AndyBlue82
June 2, 201412 yr He definitely has quality, a bit of a pr1ck, but that's what you expect from a Barca/Arsenal player. Let's face it, Etto was more annoying than him, but we got a year out of him. There's no reason not to consider a player like that.
June 2, 201412 yr Papers this morning saying Arsenal have rejected the chance to re-sign him and Manchester United have cooled their interest from last summer. Apparently Manchester City are favourites to sign him right now which I assume would eat up a large part of their transfer budget following the FFP sanctions imposed against them. He would certainly add depth to City's midfield but surely they can't offer first team football considering how well Toure and Fernandinho played last season... Unless Toure is in fact off to PSG which would be a huge loss to them.
June 2, 201412 yr His options are limited due to who can actually afford him and who really needs him, he would definitely be a first team starter for us. I always hated him in games against us, but all would be forgotten if he pulled on our shirt and helped win us some silverware nobody would complain. :) He has that nasty streak too that some of our players possess, always like to see a bit of fight in our sides.
June 2, 201412 yr Cesc Fabregas has agreed terms with Chelsea. (El Confidential) Chelsea are eyeing a move for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fàbregas as a replacement for Frank Lampard. (Mundo Deportivo) He's amazing talent and would be absolutely brilliant for us. We have enough muscle in central midfield, let's add some flair.
June 2, 201412 yr I think he'll shine in a Chelsea shirt, playing for a team where he'll be the focus in midfield. Matic and Fabregas behind Hazard, (a recharged) Oscar and Schurrle, with the brute force of Diego Costa and Lukaku. Add to that fullbacks in their correct places... Sounds good to me! June 2, 201412 yr Whats El Confidential like as a source? Reliable? I would love him at Chelsea. He counts as home grown as well. Good price, world class player. Only question is if he really wants to play at Chelsea given the history and that hes a purist.

Only question is if he really wants to play at Chelsea given the history and that hes a purist. Supposedly he's been photographed in London over the weekend. I guess if he does want to leave Barca for the Premier League then there's only a couple of teams to choose from assuming they want him. I'd take him personally but I remain skeptical that he would swap Barca for us given his Gooner past
June 2, 201412 yr Can't see it happening but would be on board with it just for the Arsenal fans reactions.
June 2, 201412 yr Lots of rumours and a picture of him being in London. You can't trust twitter but lets see what happens eh..
June 2, 201412 yr He was in London to film a commercial I believe, though he could of been doing something else!

Cannot say I believe that Arsenal would turn him down, nor that United would not be interested giving they are crying out for midfield reinforcement.
June 2, 201412 yr Bothers me that Mundo Deportivo are running this. Barca paper running Cesc leaving Barca. Seems odd, for them to be pissing off their people by running crap.
