Willian

These rumours are Willians agent trying to get him a better deal. Just like the last 2 windows. What I believe anyways.

Cause we would be better off with Pedro and Pulisic, or Moses and Kenedy, or playing with 10 men, or having Coco and Nibs as our wide attackers. Than keeping Willian. Registration ban or no.

Finally - someone showing a bit of faith in me!!

Must admit, I haven't seen Coco play, but I have no doubt he's not got my sort of ability and I guarantee I will take a better corner than Willian!!

The sooner this clown leaves the club the better. We have ample replacement out as part of our loan army anyway. CHO and Pulisic starting with Pedro and Kenedy backup. I think thats plenty.

Any other season, and I would be all in favour of selling Willian.

Hudson-Odoi won't even be starting the season, so our only options are Pulisic and Pedro if we were to sell Willian. Kenedy is not an option for me, he is not good enough for us.

We also need to remember that Hudson-Odoi still hasn't signed a new contract, and the longer this goes on, the more likely it seems that he will leave. We are a year away from losing him on a free transfer, if we don't get him signed in the next few months, then I think he is off.

Is he really worse than Willian though?

We have a chance to cash in on Willian, and we just refuse to take it. Also saying CHO won't be starting is a bit pessimistic, I definitely think he will be, especially if Frank is manager

Sky aren't too bad reliability wise in all honesty.

You also gotta consider the fact that Barca wanted Willian in the last window, in a deal that was worth 50m and we still said no.

I have no doubt that there is some truth to these rumours.

"Sky Sources" is notorious for regurgitating what is fed to them by agents, players, and clubs to further their own agendas.

To me, it's not a coincidence that these rumours of clubs wanting Willian emerge at the same time he is negotiating a new contract.

Yes. He’s pants.

the corner flag scored 3 less goals than Willian last year.

If I thought there was any real chance of getting money for Willian, you take it.

What scares me the most is that he extends his contract and is never gone.

Willian has passed his sell by date, under normal circumstances he'd be gone already. But its not normal circumstances anymore- CFC are the 1st Prem club in the league's history to receive a transfer embargo. Thus only a MUG of the highest order would think its a good move to bin him now going into a campaign challenging on 4 fronts with only Pedro & Pulisic (unproven quantity) fit, if CHO signs or not he wont be available likely until 2020. If you have any better ideas then utilizing Kenedy, Musonda or the tea lady lets have them then.

I could take a better corner than Willian using only a wet fart.

I can, having never seen either of you play, hand on heart say I would have more faith in you guys than I do in Willian. Cause you, as real blues, we could count on to give 100%.

Alright you beat me to that. Spot on.

Willian is worse. Give him and kenedy the same chances and kenedy would deliver better crosses, corners and score more goals that willian. No doubt in my mind. So would Moses, so would Pedro, so would Pulisic, so would Emerson, so would Nibs, so would Coco, etc etc etc.

Exactly these offers are bogus. And I agree completely 3 more years of Willian is a horrible thought.

I agree in sentiment completely that it’s not the time to sell first team players, but it may be we are cashing In for a big spend next summer and have written off this season.

I also think an attacking player that only scored 3 more goals than you did for Chelsea last season and f**ks up literally every corner we get is no use in most circumstances.

Also read today CHO is expected back as early as October, so I agree but when it comes to Willian he is pants anyone that replaces for him would have a hard time doing worse.

You want serious suggestions of who we could use in place of willian and no including kenedy or Charlie jnr. Ok:

Alonso and Moses. Seriously those two would offer far more than Willian.

Honestly Willian is so much better than he gets credit on here for. Alonso and Moses aren't even close to being in the same class as Willian. We'll need him lots next year without Hazard.

I just don't see it. He offers nothing to me and his ego I think means we get less than value. He takes all the set pieces. He no longer even works really hard.

His ego would demand he is a starter, when he's our 4th best wide player. I don't want him in the dressing room if hes relegated to that level because of his ego and I would rather ANY other wide player we have on our books takes that role.

People are very clouded by personal dislike.

Sorry but when you start talking about ego and demands it just shows you are making stuff up. Where does he demand to start? He is 9th on our appearance list and has never in my recollection moaned about starts.

As for set pieces, it's him Alonso or Luiz sharing. Alonso rarely played so its him or Luiz and Luiz took his fair share. On corners was him or Hazard who never got as much stick for hitting the first man.

And you know all this about his ego how exactly?

Caused a divide in the dressing room with Conte for this very reason.

How?

A player deliberately hiding the manager from a cup celebration on a public forum. Snacks of an overinflated ego to me!

Over-inflated ego? That picture indicates two things:

1. He didn't like the manager

2. He's a bit childish/dim.

All the qualities I want for my high visibility player ?

For me, it's the hands getting thrown in the air a dozen times per game... It's showing up two different managers in consecutive seasons when he's been subbed off. It's the quotes in the press following Conte's eventual dismissal.

I've said on here a couple of times. His place in this team both on the pitch and the marketing/media off of it, is oversized compared to his contribution (or lack there of)

The ego of a Galactico, without the production.
