October 28, 201510 yr With the current form of Hazard and Pedro, Jose needs to call Moses back in January I like that idea - right now we need players with confidence. Victor in the left Wing - Willian in the middle and Pedro in the right wing will be nice.
October 28, 201510 yr With the current form of Hazard and Pedro, Jose needs to call Moses back in January It wouldn't make any difference. The problem is with the squad as a whole rather than just 1 or 2 individuals. Moses would struggle just as much right now if he was here.
October 28, 201510 yr Moses would at least probably get to the byline and try and put in a few crosses. Not that there would be anyone in the box, with Costa always drifting out to the left wing.
October 28, 201510 yr Regardless of the form of our attacking mids Moses should have been kept this season.
October 28, 201510 yr He's not any better than Kennedy or Traore, neither of which are even proper wingers, so I disagree.
October 29, 201510 yr He's not any better than Kennedy or Traore, neither of which are even proper wingers, so I disagree.Which planet are you from?

October 29, 201510 yr He's 24 now, so really this has to be his last loan before the club make a decision on whether they want him or not. He's not world class by any means, but he could be a valuable squad member. Kalou was never world class, but he was important for us over the years. Moses could play a similar role. And he would offer us something different from what Willian and Hazard do, which is more direct running. Of course the club won't keep him, but I think they should give him a shot in January.
October 29, 201510 yr His first and only season with us he was pretty good aswell. He always seems to look good for ps in ore season had a good loan spell at Stoke last season and is going well again at West Ham. We kept Traore and Kennedy over him but there not playing either, Moses would be real handy for us right now.
October 29, 201510 yr I think Moses is a tough one. On one hand I understand if we want to give his playing minutes to Kenedy and Traore to try and develop them into better players than Moses is. On the other hand I think Moses is a decent player and I quite liked him in the 12-13 season.
October 29, 201510 yr Kalou was never world class, but he was important for us over the years. haventaf**kinKalou was NEVER important for us EVER
October 29, 201510 yr haventaf**kinKalou was NEVER important for us EVER 251 apps and 60 goals. Played around 30ish games most seasons in the league. Not saying he was anything special, he was incredibly frustrating, but you need squad players like them. You can't go through a season just playing the same 13 or 14 players every game, like we have been doing. Edited October 29, 201510 yr by Zeta Orionis
October 29, 201510 yr Moses is the kind of player who does well for teams like Wigan and West Ham where there isn't a big focus on him. But he's not top level material IMO.

If not let them go on loan and bring Moses back.
October 29, 201510 yr Moses is the kind of player who does well for teams like Wigan and West Ham where there isn't a big focus on him. But he's not top level material IMO. Not every player in our squad has to be top level material. Moses is easily good enough for a squad player and being homegrown is an advantage.
October 29, 201510 yr Not every player in our squad has to be top level material. Why not ? I don't understand that logic ?
October 29, 201510 yr Which planet are you from? Earth. At least he's got experience... That doesn't make him any better than Kenndey or Traore. Remodez is under rating Moses like most people seem to do. And you are overrating him as usual. Do people actually remember his performances in the season he was with us or are they just looking at his goals? He was between average and poor for the vast majority of his time here. Constantly losing the ball, running down into deadends, trying stupid skills and getting tackled easily, couldn't pass the ball to save his life. His only saving grace was that he was our only winger, he stayed wide and gave us width during a time when all our players were determinded on setting up camp in the middle and he had this Lampard esque ability of being in the right place at the right time to score goals. Now yes, he has improved. He looked good at Stoke although faded towards the end. His passing is still pretty poor but he doesn't seem to lose the ball as often from what I've seen. However, at his current level, he's still not good enough to be part of the squad. On merit, he should be as he's done everything he can to prove himself and he had a great pre season but things don't really work like that here and I feel sorry for him in that regard but then I look at Kenndey and Traore who already have the basics like passing mastered that Moses still struggles with and I think, what's the point in brining him back? Kenndey especially is already at a similar level to Moses (I actually think he's better but it's probably a tad premature to make such a statement so I take back the hyperbole on my previous comment), much younger and seems to have Jose's trust so he should see more game time.
October 29, 201510 yr Why not ? I don't understand that logic ? Players have to be left out of the starting 11 and thus some players will become unhappy, and unhappy squads produce poor performances on the pitch and in training. If you have ego's for example Ronaldo or Ibrahimovic sitting on the bench you can imagine them kicking up a stink and creating a bad atmosphere. Admittedly you can try to opt for a rotation policy but that's either more expensive or you have a lower quality first team. If you have to have a squad of 22 great players you have to pay 22 high salaries. Hence there is generally a drop in quality from the first team to the squad players, as the lower quality players will be more content with less game time and eat up less of your wage budget.
October 29, 201510 yr Not every player in our squad has to be top level material. Moses is easily good enough for a squad player and being homegrown is an advantage. I get that but I don't rate Moses
October 29, 201510 yr Moses is a hard worker but at the bigger clubs he doesn't really look like he can step up to that level. He didn't exactly light up Anfield when he went there on loan. If we can get £10 million or over for him we will be doing well, we have loads of players in the Moses category and that's our problem...we have too many players like this. We need quality not quantity.

I seriously doubt you are from this earth, you must be an alien for you to compare Moses with Kennedy and Traore. In his first season, he wasn't a first teamer but still manage 10 goals, and yet you think he is a sh*t player. For you to even think Moses haven't improved his game since he last played for us shows you probably don't even know the Moses we are talking about or you haven't watched him play since 3 years ago! Jose don't want to give him the chance to prove himself just like the case with KDB, Mata etc. But there is only one way for us to know he could have been a success here. When he eventually leaves and proved himself in a top team just like Pogba and KDB has done.
