He's in great form at the moment. Sky reporting that he's close to signing for boro till the end of the season.

On current form I see Bamford as a potential successor to Loic Remy.

Excellent today, took his goal well and caused derby loads of problems. It's impressive how he gets pretty much every shot on target.

Bamfordinho at it again good to see him get game time and scoring in a decent side.

Watching Kane at Spurs makes me wonder just what Bamford could do with us, also Jose said until Drogba was available to come back Bamford would have been in our squad this season so he's clearly deemed good enough(sigh)

Got an assist today according to the bbc, I never caught the game, does anyone know how he done? He certainly puts the stats on the board.

Shame Bamford never got a chance,he is clearly a good striker who knows where the goal is.Hope he gets a chance but we always look forward to the already formed player which we will pay big $ to get.

Nice interview with the lad and reveals he was lined up for third choice this season until Jose got Drogba...suggests Jose might give him a chance when Didier quits, but somehow I think we will go and buy again

the lad seems to be intent on doing everything to give himself the best launchpad to catch JM's attention. good.

With the talk of drogba wanting to extend his contract, It's tough to know whether he'll get a chance next season. I want him to, but if he doesn't mind being loaned out again and boro make it into the EPL, then another season long loan would make sense. Me personally, I would really like to see him 3rd choice here and, honestly, I'd probably forfeit remy for bamford if push came to shove. If José makes him a part of the team next seaskn, then that would be a great sign for thr future of CFC.

I want him here as 3rd choice, but that is assuming we win the title, there is less pressure on Jose and he can give more minutes to the youngsters. I think Bamford being here this season would have been a waste of a year for him. Training with the team has its benefits of course, but it doesn't come close to playing regularly.

Would jose trust a costa/remy/bamford strikeforce? I think the only way bamford gets 3rd choice next season, is if we bring in another big name striker, and remy leaves.

Just can't see Mourinho being comfortable with remy and bamford. He hasn't put too much faith in remy this year.

Bamford is a smart player and i think he would really flourish here surrounded by creative talent. At Boro he is starved of top quality service, thus why he has had to use his movement wisely and get into positions to make his own chances. I like him a lot and i think he can thrive with us if given a chance. Jose seems to really rate him if what bamford and others in the know have said, so i really see no reason why he wouldn't get his chance next season.
