Costa clearly thrives on Mikel's distribution from the #10 role, don't think we need Cesc or Oscar anymore.

Agreed, Costa looks a man who works hard and shows passion on the pitch, can't say the same for Mutu

Spot on Evissy. Its great once again to have a Centre forward that opposition fans boo and swear at rather than one they laugh and jeer at. Shows they are scared of him.

Costa's running of the line today was excellent. Playing off the last man, always looking to get in behind the centre backs. Always wanting the ball.

Apparently Costa and Howard made up after the game. Be a warrior for 90 minutes then all is forgotten until the next match, love it.

It appears that the team's and particularly Costa's impressive starts have got the football world in a panic already. And the medias plan A is to ensure that Costa is perceived badly by everyone from fans to refs. The BBC have taken the Guardians sh*t and run with it.

I loved his striker instinct for the goals, but he was being a prick toward Howard and it pissed me off. (Im American though so maybe im being overprotective of Howard)
