Didier Drogba Returns!

Featured Replies

Classic drog. Reminds me how great he really was and how lucky we were to have him.

Been lucky enough to see two truly world class forwards with us, the drog and Zola.

You guys are seriously off base if you think Costa is anywhere near their quality. Diego is top player but nowhere near the true world class level of the drog or Zola.

He scored a brilliant freekick to give Montreal victory.

Great goal, the keeper had no chance. And that's his ninth in nine games.

I'm delighted to see him succeed there.

So far he's had the freekick proficiency of Willian, the attacking presence of Costa, the creative input of Oscar, Pedro, Fabregas combined plus has something we lack: darn good finishing.

Didn't do a bad job last season and he was more effective than Falcao has ever been in the PL

Never. Even this version of Falcao has a better all-round game than last season's Drogba. He was downright painful to watch at times. And Jose must think the same as Falcao has the 2nd spot above Remy.

That's complete bollocks in my opinion and we all know Remy is better than Falcao now aswell.

Sorry, but the Falcao of today is not as good as Remy. He doesn't have a better all-round game than Didier too.

Didier could hold onto the ball well and go head to head against defenders. Falcao would more likely be dispossessed as soon as he got the ball and you know the rest.

He could hold on to the ball? Are we still speaking about 2014-2015 Drogba? The only areas Falcao loses out to Remy is in pace and finishing. Everything else is superior. And I'm not a big fan of the guy, but it is easy to see why he starts ahead of Remy and would have started ahead of Drogba if he were still here.
