Hogan,

That too. No more tax free money. Currently, Monaco cannot beat their way out of a paper bag. Lost in the French league, soon to be out of the CL.

Wenger should be coaching them. He knows how to save millions.

le voyeur already coached them. Don't forget that Don Claudio Ranieri was given the sack for finishing 2nd last season @ Monaco.

Ranieri's been sacked more times than I've had hot dinners though.

funny that you post this. You know that if qpha gets any points from CFC, this it will be a successful season even if they get relegated. Remember a couple of seasons ago when Fulham beat them 6-0, but they beat CFC? Man that was horrible. I remember on TalkChelsea how their fans invaded the forum & were just unbearable to do deal with. I can't even imagine if you people know any qpha fans in London. agreed man we can't let those bums get any success this season. The same goes w/ palace. Can't let those bums find any solace from playing CFC.

You're american right? Do you have british background Robbie? I'm just curious you seem to get into the rivalry a lot as if you're local that's all :laugh2:

I could just imagine you rioting!

Naw, I was raised in South Central LA. I just remember the situation & was freakin' shocked of the audacity of the qpha fans, especially after Fulham just busted that ass 6-0.

Dog,

Ranieri I believe he wanted out. He already knew the club was falling apart then. The baggy coat would fit there fine.

Maybe you didn't understand my post, Don Claudio got sacked for coming in 2nd. What is le voyeur famous for? Coming into 4th. Going damn near a decade w/out trophies. The Prince of Monaco wants instant success. So to answer your assessment, No le voyeur would not do good there. Dude has a track record of finishing in 2nd place.

Dog,

Maybe you didn't read it well.

Ranieri didn't care when the Russian owner was going through his divorce and all. Monaco is doomed now.

Currently the club is on much lower budget. Therefore, I mentioned Wenger.

Hogan,

They did, but Chelsea is a better beast now.

Chelsea had almost the same squad of players the next season & won the title, so every thing is possible, especially in football, nothing is set in stone.

I don't think I've seen a better home debut by a Manchester United player.

Angel Di Maria played a ball for Robin van Persie with the outside of his left boot midway the second half which was mesmerising.

I've tipped United to finish fourth this season but with the this new set-up assembled by manager Louis van Gaal anything is possible.

Watch out messrs Jose Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini as it looks like United are back in the hunt for Premier League titles.

Strange what one win against a poor opponent can do.....

I hate seeing United win a match, but God it's good to see QPR getting smashed.

TBH they have been getting smashed all season. already -8 in GD.

To say, United are in for the title is just laughable. Currently, Chelsea is already 7 points ahead of them. That means Chelsea would need to drop 3 games for United to get ahead of them. Probably nothing to worry about. Chelsea will maintain their distance from United.

So to summarise then. Man Utd have beaten a p*ss poor team who really shouldn't be anywhere near the Premier League ( ever ) and some pundits are falling over themselves to call it a new beginning ?   You have to laugh

You guys must know some pretty crazy United fans, all the United fans I know including myself are just relieved that we got our first win and that we put some points on the table. Talk of us winning the league is laughable, it's not impossible of course but then it's not very likely either. This season is about strengthening in January, getting top 4 and then getting in more players next summer to then challenge for the title.

What! buying a Champions League spot..unforgivable...no one buys Championships and trophies anymore, just ask City..or is it a case of the pot calling the kettle black now..even Moyes would have stood a chance if they had bought the players that Utd have just signed..sorry to say but a f**king joke of a two faced club just like its former manager.

United will probably finish ahead of Liverpool, could also finish above Arsenal.

Won't get into the top 2 though.

Chelsea bought the league, City bought the league. United bought Galacticos...

Well at least it's more bearable than the Liverpool love in last season.

Yeah but as usual the media having a w**kfest after just one game against utter sh*t opposition.....jeeez they really have no grasp of reality do they  :face_palm:

The current Man Utd w**k fest is ridiculous. On the BBC this morning we have "From Fellaini to Falcao: Man Utd's fortunes revived during a 4-0 thrashing of QPR, Manchester United discover what difference a year and £126m can make"

It's the subheading that gets me. That's £126m spent and they managed to beat QPR 4-0 (who were terrible and have lost two out of their four games so far this season 4-0; I don't remember the same fuss being made after Spurs spanked them) and suddenly they're BACK and the previous draws against Sunderland and Burnley and the opening day defeat by Swansea are all but forgotten. They have a better attack and midfield than last season and Di Maria is a classy player, but one decent performance against one of the worst teams in the PL is really not that big of a deal. The Man Utd supporting media hacks and pundits really need to reign themselves in and keep a little perspective.
