March 9, 201511 yr An Arsenal and Liverpool final.............it doesn't get any less interesting than that for me. They are my 2 most disliked clubs in the country. Gerrard getting a trophy before he leaves Liverpool, or seeing those Gooners happy ??????? Such a hard choice. A Bradford and Blackburn final would be brilliant but incredibly unlikely. I know a Big Blackburn fan here in Sac-town, so I could easily root for them to win the FA Cup. IMHO it would be a good story for football
March 9, 201511 yr So will all those arsenal fans calling for Wenger to go, change their minds? That is until next week when they go out of the champions league! Of course. Always the way.
March 9, 201511 yr im seeing no outrage over those dives, No mention of imo the biggest flop ever di maria getting sent off or how he fisted the ref in the media and barely mentioned on bbc!??? LOL typical! uuuukkinnn typical. no campaign? pffffftttt Edited March 9, 201511 yr by Bigthrobberus
March 9, 201511 yr ok, but you appear to have a problem with his decisions tonight Uhhh, no i don't. I actually said that he got his decisions right. I just want to see more consistency.
March 9, 201511 yr Uhhh, no i don't. I actually said that he got his decisions right. I just want to see more consistency. video refs just like rugby. theres not even an argument to be had about it!
March 9, 201511 yr Van Gaal looks completely clueless....can only assume his cv and the fact journos appear to be scared of him is why there isn't any talk about him getting the sack
March 9, 201511 yr Poor performance from United once again, LVG's implementation of his "philosophy" clearly isn't working. I can't remember United playing with any kind of sustained rhythm or fluency at any point this season. At this rate, I don't see them making the top 4, and whether they do or don't, that team/squad needs a hell of a lot more investment. In fact, of their signings so far, only Herrera has been consistently good whilst there are big question marks still hanging over practically all of the others, save for Blind who has been ok for the most part. In short, the club's a mess at the moment, and it's a miracle they even are 4th at the moment in light of how poor they've been this season. I know it was his own decision to leave rather than to stay and fight for his place, but I really do feel for Juan Mata. He effectively left our bench for United's and doesn't even get a look in any more under LVG, who evidently doesn't rate him. He needs to leave this Summer, for the good of his own career. Unfortunately there isn't any obvious move on for him that I can see, he doesn't fit any of the big 3 in Spain; Real are absolutely stacked in the attacking positions, Barca's current formation has no room for a classic no.10, and I cannot see Simeone taking on a player that is largely useless defensively. Perhaps he could go to Juve to play behind Tevez? Top quality player and a really decent person as well, can't help but think Mata regrets leaving. If it wasn't for the World Cup, I think he'd have seen it out until the Summer and perhaps then made a more considered transfer elsewhere. Edited March 9, 201511 yr by Celery1989
March 9, 201511 yr Mata could have stayed, fought for his place and helped us out in second half of last season when Oscar went off the pace...loved him at chelsea for two years, but have little sympathy for what's happening now
March 9, 201511 yr Manure pot less again for a second season, any chance of them going the same way as dirty Leeds? FA Cup - thought of Stevie Me lifting a trophy at Wembley as he takes his final bow gives me the shakes .................. will a god please make sure this dos not come to pass. Thanks.
March 9, 201511 yr I honestly think the rags are going to choke 4th place as well, If that happens they are in an absolute mess because how do they go about buying in the summer transfer market? What would be their philosophy? Do they sack the manager and cut costs by buying cheaper players but risk improving less? or do they back him one more time with a few more galacticos but risk of going into financial meltdown if it were to go pear shaped? Another thing, If they miss out on top 4 and finish 5th that means they get the privilege of being in the Europa League which would probably rule them out of contending for the title even next year, That would be a huge psychological blow to Edwood Woodwood considering he was thinking they could challenge this year. Wherever our David Moyes is in Spain, I'd just love to give him a kiss right now, All of this is thanks to his genius, God bless that ugly ginger.

They have more income than anyone else in England so they can outspend us all, they had no European football this season and managed to spend well over a 100 million.
March 9, 201511 yr Just when I thought everything was going well, Guillem Balague said on ssn that there's a serious chance Ancelotti could be sacked by Real this year, If Van Gaal f-cks up you just know they will line Ancelotti up, I don't care how good this current Chelsea side is all I can remember was that Chelsea side under Ancelotti was an absolute machine, 6-0's for fun, 7-0's on a Sunday afternoon against Stoke, The thought of United playing like that and getting rid of a manager who has them playing like Ipswich is frightening.
March 10, 201511 yr Am I the only one who wants Reading to beat Bradford? Being born and breed in that town and spent many good old days at the old Elm Park cheering on the 'Biscuit Men' I'm with you...mind you from what I have seen of them of late they are pretty awful from the side that won promotion a few years ago. They should beat Bradford but getting past Arsenal at Wembley is another matter.
March 10, 201511 yr Bad news. Utd's defeat to Arsenal means Evans will now be banned for the Chelsea game. Shame.
March 10, 201511 yr Based on that performance United are in serious f**king trouble for the next fixtures in the league. Tottenham (Home) (Lose) Liverpool (Away) (Lose) Villa (Home) (Win) City (Home) (Lose) Chelsea (Away) (Lose) Everton (Away) (Draw) They are in serious trouble. Spurs look a real threat this year to their top four hopes, Liverpool are going to bury them alive at Anfield, City will twat them out of the park, and we will absolutely crucify them at the Bridge. If we do not beat them at home I will be extremely disappointed.
March 10, 201511 yr Will be interested to see the media fall out from Di Maria yanking the ref back by his shirt, i'm sure he'll receive the same amount of negative press as if say, Diego Costa, were to do the same.
March 10, 201511 yr Top 4 is the most interesting it ever has been right now. You can't even write Spurs off for it really and they are the least likely at the moment, Liverpool have picked up some form, are they still yet to lose a game in 2015? In the Premier League of course. If I was a United fan I would be worrying, top 4 is crucial for them, they might make a crucial amount of money but time will is still precious to them, they have to get challenging as quick as possible. Not being in top 4 will only make it more frustrating and longer for them.
March 10, 201511 yr Shame the way the FA cup has gone this season. If we can't win it, I always hope it will be a team who don't get much success, like Southampton, Newcastle etc. As much as I like the romance of the FA cup, the thought of a final involving a Reading or Blackburn doesn't inspire me to want to watch it. So I guess I hope Villa win their semi and give Arsenal a trouncing in the final. As for last night, Utd did look poor. Looks like another season with no European football for them.

I loved us under Carlo but we weren't exactly a machine, yes we did the double and scored a record amount of goals but we won the league by a point and crashed out of Europe early (to the winners mind but still). Had Ronaldo still been at United I don't think that we'd have been won the league title. But yes Carlo would improve them indeed but I don't think suddenly they'd start tearing the league up.

They really are a mid-Championship side now, sad to say.

I actually hope it's an Arsenal vs Liverpool final and the reason why is I'm not sure who'd win that. If it were any of the others in the final it either becomes an uninteresting tie or its looking one sided. Personally I think Liverpool will win it, it's just setting up for a Stevie Me birthday send off. With the teams in it aswell, what is this saying about the FA Cup, no disrespect to Bradford, Blackburn, Reading etc but it really has seemed for a few years now that a few of the big teams tend to take the League Cup more seriously now. United played really well against Swansea and, rather ironically, lost. Herrera has been good but for some reason LVG doesn't play him that often, Blind started well but he's been awful from what I've seen lately. I still think they will make Top 4 though, they are like Spurs under AVB. Didn't play great but still got points. Mata has played more mins than Di Maria, only Rooney and RVP has played more out of the attacking players. In that past two or three games he's barely been used though. He should leave anyway but I don't really think he can complain all that much about gametime.
