March 11, 201511 yr They need to allow replays in cup competitions, to many times a ref decides the result.
March 12, 201511 yr Bayern are bloody terrifying at the moment - 22 goals scored and 2 conceded in their last five games and we no longer have our outrageous big-game defensive abilities left in the Champions League to stop them.
March 12, 201511 yr Does anyone know how the UEFA coefficients work, and if England could soon lose a Champions League place to Italy? Italian teams are doing well in Europa this year, and most English teams haven't done well in Europe for at least 3/4 years now. I think it's calculated over a five-year period, and in that time we've won the Champions League, Europa League and got to the semi-finals once. I think Inter's Champions League win will fall out of contention after this season as well. That said, I have no idea of the actual numbers, but I suppose Arsène only has himself to blame!

I recall seeing this yesterday, can't remember the full details but I do know that next season is already set, doesn't matter how poorly the English teams do it will still remain the same. There is a possibility that the season after that could see Italy overtake England if the current trend carries on.
March 12, 201511 yr I can actually see an Italian team winning the Europa League this year, or at least get to the final. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. They have five teams left, but Fiorentina and Roma were drawn together, which means one Italian team is guaranteed to be knocked out, but I suppose one Italian team is also guaranteed to progress. Inter and Torino have tricky ties against Wolfsburg and Zenit respectively, but Napoli have a good tie against Dynamo Moscow so they are still in a strong position as a national presence. This is especially considering that the Premier League and the Bundesliga only have a team apiece left (Everton and Wolfsburg), and Spain only have two (Villarreal and Sevilla) but they have been drawn together.

March 12, 201511 yr I won't worry about the Serie A if I was an EPL fan. They are quite a distance from catching up to the top 3 last time I checked and EPL teams in my opinion have more quality than Serie A teams.

For the people that are a bit worried they should look at this. http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/country/ We should be ok for a while but we need to be careful, Germany will overtake us by the end of the season i think.
March 12, 201511 yr As long as the Milan teams and Juve are still hampered by there poor finacial situation because of all those years of splurging on players and not investing in their stadiums it will be a while before the Serie A will make a big mark in Europe. Teams like Roma and Napoli in my opinion don't have the same pull as the Milan clubs and Juve once had.

March 13, 201511 yr Author Mesut Ozil has revealed in an interview with the mail online that he brings his own grooming kit to games Just when you thought Ozil could not get anymore interesting, he goes and reveals that. March 13, 201511 yr Mesut Ozil has revealed in an interview with the mail online that he brings his own grooming kit to games Haha I spotted that too, in the same interview Giroud claimed that David Beckham is his footballing style icon. Nothing wrong with a man trying to look his best, but it sums up Arsenal in a nutshell...
March 13, 201511 yr How brilliant is the Championship title run in shaping up?! 4 teams currently joint 1st, with only goal difference separating them. 5th placed Norwich are only a point behind them and 6th placed Brentford 4 points behind.

It's really exciting, I was talking to a few mates and they were saying how good that leagues been this season. Would be great if all 4 were in with a shout on the last day.
March 13, 201511 yr Different. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-31869161 A Norwich City fan was left steaming when his mother accidentally cooked 16 tickets he had bought for an upcoming football match at Brighton. Mikey Knight's mother accidentally picked up the envelope containing the tickets as she popped a chicken in to roast on Tuesday. The charred remains, worth £500, were dished up by his red-faced mum when he arrived for supper. Brighton and Hove Albion has agreed to provide him with replacements, he said. Bricklayer Mr Knight, 28, from Taverham, Norfolk, said: "I went round for tea on Tuesday and my mum asked me if I was in a good mood. I said 'yes'. "Then I was told the football tickets had got roasted." His mother had put the roast-in-the-bag bird on top of the envelope, where it stuck firmly until she looked at the chicken 40 minutes later. "There were the tickets, roasting away nicely," Mr Knight said. "I thought it was a wind-up at first, but then I opened the envelope and the 16 tickets were inside, all black." He had bought them on behalf of a group of his friends who regularly attend matches together. "There wouldn't usually be this many tickets to cook, but as the match is on Good Friday more people wanted to come along," Mr Knight said. His mother took them back to Norwich City and after a member of staff emailed the Brighton club, Mr Knight was told they had agreed to provide replacements on the day "as a goodwill gesture". "I've already got my train tickets, but it's a good job those didn't go to my mum's address. She might have put them in for afters." Norwich City and Brighton and Hove Albion, who face each other in the Championship fixture on 3 April, have not yet commented.
