October 5, 201411 yr Or genius by the author! Knowing he can write a load of sentimental sh*t and a bunch of fans will buy it. Easy money he's already working on the sequel "How we finished 9th"
October 6, 201411 yr He is starting to resemble Alec Guinness, in The Lady Killers, more and more...Its the teeth.. The fans won't turn on him, not while he is playing to the gallery in the most shameless and craven of ways...He knows that a few compliments and a bit of misdirection will keep the shirt burners on side, he really is a t*sser.
October 7, 201411 yr Does he have 2 rows of teeth or something? It looks like he's got too many for the human mouth.
October 7, 201411 yr Why he deserves all he gets IMHO is = when we was looking for a Manager & just before he went to Liverfool, he was asked if he would be Chelsea's next Manager, his reply was, "I am trying to build a career not ruin it" who does he think he is the mouthy PRATT. hope it is not too long before he found out he is useless manager, & is looking to manage a lower league side.

Wow he said that? Well Chelsea like Man C and Man U have a certain standard of quality demanded and Rodgers is not that level. The best players come to the biggest clubs and so do the best managers exception in the case of Moyes of course.
October 18, 201411 yr Well, after 11 days of nothing, Brenda has come out of hiding, with some wonderful quotes on Sturridges' new injury and advice for the national manager regarding Sterling.... He really is priceless: Sturridge ruled out for at least three weeks with calf injury http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2797695/daniel-sturridge-ruled-three-weeks-liverpool-striker-injures-calf.html @MailSport
October 18, 201411 yr Our Brendan Rodgers to Arsene Wenger abuse ratio is very skewed on this forum. I know we should lay off Brenda

October 18, 201411 yr "I'm not waiting for a thesis to give me evidence. We're at the edge of the game creating evidence ourselves." Evidence that you're a plonker Brendan That was the one I picked out too, what a bullsh*tter he is, but he plays to his audience well. He has the daft Liverpool fans eating out of his hands.
October 20, 201411 yr He isnt stupid, he knows exactly how to get the Liverpool fans on side. Most managers would do the same thing.
October 20, 201411 yr Rodgers: I want to manage in Spain... and I'm already learning Spanish http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2799847/brendan-rodgers-want-manage-spain-one-day-m-learning-spanish-liverpool-players.html @MailSport I see he wants to manage in Spain (after 20 years at Liverpool). Maybe the Solano in Benidorm needs a new manager? Edited October 20, 201411 yr by Northerner

October 20, 201411 yr Rodgers for me is one of those Keegan types, didn't seem to have a long term game plan it was all about mentality (typical Rodgers). That only works for a short while, for example a season. They had a one season wonder and they wont ever get that back. The scousers can go on about how much of a good manager he is but the truth is he f**ked it up last season. That was the only chance they will get in a very long time, they can't compete with us or City, and Arsenal and United look more likely to improve in the coming years than they do, I would even gamble on Spurs as Pocchetto isn't doing a terrible job. But I really think that last season was there last chance to win it because I don't see how they can win it again in a really long time, Rodgers is limited, if it doesn't work out he will only sign another 5-6 new players in the transfer window which will only make things worse.
October 20, 201411 yr What happened to his philosophy of getting the ball down and playing tiki taka like he tried to do at Swansea and his first year at Liverpool? Has he abandoned that style because it's no longer flavour of the month?
October 20, 201411 yr He has changed his approach coming to Liverpool in press conferences. He appears to just say stupid things like Rafa Benitez used to do just to impress the supporters and get them on there side. I don't even think Brendan believes half of the tripe he says, if he does then I actually feel sorry for a millionaire. It isn't bitter to say Liverpool where really lucky last season, that was the truth, they where fantastic going forward and Suarez worked miracles for them but they had no distractions. They where constantly off the radar sitting in 4th place with no one fixing on them, but as soon as the top 3 had there dip they came marching through and the media where just sat there typing away or writing away with one hand whilst they where probably w**king. No way they will finish top 4, Champions League will hurt them but most of all the loss of Suarez alone is not going to be able to be fixed within a season, he was to crucial to the side.
October 25, 201411 yr "We pride ourselves on clean sheets but we need to be more competitive and aggressive in those moments as a team. "In the goals we've conceded, a large number have been soft so our job is to improve that record and that's something we'll continue to work on." Bu-bu-but playing defense is so easy hah Brenda?
October 25, 201411 yr "Integrity, class, dignity...this is what 'this football club' is all about." Really? I think Juventus may beg to differ.
