Lofty. Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 The latest comment on Scouse signing Ballotelli. "People who know me well will tell you I look to try and develop the player and the person. Thankfully we have that culture here. I’ve shown before that as long as players care and want to learn, we can give them the opportunity to develop." Ah yes. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, so they say. Or if not the actual eating, then the gnawing As in the case of that nice Luis Suarez, who having tentatively revealed his opponent-gnawing proclivities at Ajax, was later given the opportunity by dear old Brendan to develop the art, an opportunity that lucky Luis siezed upon with relish, salivating wildly at the merest cogitation of the Great and the Goodly given opportunity to pursue his art, relishing the thought of sinking his gnashers into another opponent, reaching out to a wider audience as his canines tore into the underserving flesh of one Branislav Ivanovic, whose lack of gratitude on being selected as the subject of Luis the nice man Suarez's artistic endeavour was plain for all to see. And so, having honed and perfected the fine art of opponent-gnawing under the auspices of the Great and the Goodly Mr Rodgers, Luis the nice man was now free to present his art to the World Stage. Poor misunderstood Luis, victim of an uncaring and uncomprehending world that simply refuses to see him for what he is - the world's premier exponent of the fine art of opponent-nibbling, given the opportunity to develop his art , and appreciated only by the massed hordes of Anfedelia. The rest of us think of hLuis Suarez as a raving nutter, but up on Merseyside, they know better. De do doh don't dey do. They know that Luis the nice man was was a victim of a conspiracy, driven out of the UK by the mean and rotten cruel and nasty media. So for those who mock, there we have the proof of Brendan Rodgers' pudding. He did indeed further develop the player and the person that is Luis Suarez, They really do have "that culture" up there, a culture that refuses to acknowledge the vaguest possibility that there is any other valid opinion but their own, that the ritualistic prompting of a new signing to slip one in about the "biggest and the best club in the world" doesn't actually occur, because everybody knows dat dey are doh.da biggestest and the bestestest. And dey really do care, you know dat? Only in Liverpool do they care about dead chickens. "Rest In Peace little dead chicken". Oh yes, Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool FC, a perfect fit, if ever there was one. Hitsu, WeatherMan, moi and 1 other 4
Mr Pink Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 This thread is brilliant. When Jose/Ferguson etc speak they speak with resonance and gravitas. Oh yep. Every time,

moi Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 From BF's wonderful post "Rest In Peace little dead chicken". Flowers and tributes were left in an alleyway where the body of a mystery dead baby was found - before police realised it was only a chicken foetus. That is ridiculous!! There's no such thing as a chicken foetus!! There's an EGG which then hatches into a live chicken! So did all these people leave flowers and teddy bears over an egg or a small dead chick? Only in Liverpool..... Beerqueen, guddy69 and andy 3

Even though I studied biology and chemistry in school it was more molecular bio aand biochem. Never took Zoology. With that said and given the preposterous content of that story not to mention the pathetic authorities, I am going to go with you Moi on this one.
The Brit Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 More delusional crap from the master, talking again about how his team didn't choke last season...seems To think they played well against us, can't remember that and glosses over woeful collapse v palace “People talked about the run-in and the pressure and all of that, but in the last 14 games we won 12, drew one and lost one - and the loss was so unfortunate. “We had actually played really well against Chelsea and then, just before half-time, Stevie slips. That has nothing to do with winning the title, it’s just a slip. “I think we missed out on a little bit of luck towards the end and I had nothing but pride in how we were and how we played. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/daniel-sturridge-still-liverpools-main-4099622#ixzz3BLmgoXyq Follow us: @DailyMirror on Twitter | DailyMirror on Facebook

Blue Exile Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 He talks utter sh*t in every post match interview. When we turned them over at Anfield, all he was interested in talking about was parked buses, not one mention of his tactics of chucking the sink at us from the kick off was wrong when they would have taken a draw.. Then where was the reasoning behind the goal chase at Palace which saw the end of their championship challenge? No doubt it was his wife's fault that he cheated on her too. Sloth Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I don't think that'll worry him too much. For a man that is so full of himself, I think it will.

Beerqueen Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) OMFG! That must be a made up quote surely? Or is he serious? - if it's true! And if it's a made up quote, it's still hilarious! Edit - sadly, can't see any credible sources for that - only forums and the like. Anyone else find any? Edited August 25, 2014 by Beerqueen

WeatherMan Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Here's another startling revelation from the gift that just keeps on giving. Wait for it......Brendan Rodgers says Manchester City were better than Liverpool last season. No sh*t Sherlock. A quick glimpse of the final league table would seem to confirm that jaw dropping statement. To think this muppet was once connected with our Club. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9438725/premier-league-brendan-rodgers-says-manchester-city-were-better-than-liverpool-last-year Kinkladze1871 1
DoubleHelix Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Sorry, I am just getting too lazy to post individual comments from dear ole' Brendan! This article is chock full of sh*t. In fact there is more sh*t in this article than a dog's shovel after a weekend stint being locked up in the kennel! More sh*t than on an enema clinic and that's pushing it (Pun f*cking intended) http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/aug/25/mario-balotelli-16m-liverpool-milan)

Right, because you really curbed Suarez' obvious flaws didn't you ? "He comes with a reputation but we hope at our club we can curb that behaviour." Suarez again, and has he forgotten the time when St Stevie of Gerrard beat up a dj and passed the blame onto his mates despite cctv evidence to the contrary ? He knows he is part of a team. There are no egos or big-time Charlies in our squad." No egos or big time Charlies....really ? St Stevie again, and Daniel Sturridge spring immediately to mind. NorthernMonkey Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Apparently Sam Allerde suggested Liverpool were complacent against Villa. Rodgers: "We're allergic to complacency here". What a knob
Eight Times Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 He really is a complete knob. Sad thing is, I didn't mind him when he originally went there, he's just fallen into all the bullsh*t. Cannot wait to see him as a broken man, come the end of the season. Koppins 1
PloKoon13 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Presumably the press instructions for any Liverpool manager are "just take the piss lad". I wouldn't take it personally, he's obviously talking nonsense and I assume (as he hasn't shown any indication in the past of being a stupid man) he knows that perfectly well. Koppins 1

He's a real scum of the highest order. Suarez bites someone and this gutless piece of monkey turd stands up and defends him like he's a saint which attacking Jose for having the perfect strategy for shutting his offense down. I liked him more at Swansea but he's become a real dippers manager now living in the past and talking sh*te every time a better team beats his bunch of overpriced knobs. A real bellend is Rodgers the dippers must be so proud to call him one of their own. Spudulike, Eight Times and WeatherMan 3
Gem Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I don't recall him being a delusional prick at Swansea, he's clearly got sucked into the Liverpool mentality. F*cking insane.
