I have to disagree. In any type of teaching, what and who is effective for one student may not work for another student. Every student has their own personality and learning style.

As I understand it, the players are allowed to seek private lessons at their expense, no? Like if a player wants to specifically improve dribbling, they can get hire a personal dribbling specialist coach to work with them. Maybe Thibaut would do well taking that approach if they won't get rid of Lollichon.

Would i swap Cech back for Courtois?  Right now? Yes.

 

Do i still think Courtois is potentially in the worlds top 3, or even worlds best? absolutely.

Of course he did a good job with Cech, he specifically requested for Lollichon to coach him and he got his wish. We should give Courtois the same courtesy and allow him to request a coach he feels he will best benefit from.

Theres a difference between teaching not being effective and teacher and student having it out for each other.

That relationship is probably not a healthy one. While Lollichan is one of the best around, if Thibo cant get on with him there are 2 outcomes ultimately. Id rather have Thibo comfortable, happy and playing with confidence than keep Lollichan. If they can reconcile then thats perfect, if not we have to replace one of them. Another season of Curtois playing like he has been this season isnt good enough for someone who is supposed to be one of the best in the world

They do. Kompany, when fit, is the best centre back in the world in my opinion, Alderweireld and Vertonghen are also top quality, better than Ivanovic and Miazga and current JT (not in his prime obviously, but he's aging). No real need for the smart arsery, especially when you're in the wrong.
