We brought him in for Cech. Might as well do the same favour for Courtois.

This story was around before Courtois said he was 100% staying so either the story is made up (very possible) or they have got past there differences or Courtois has been told Lollichon is the one leaving (which would make the media narrative of Coutois is likely to leave to Courtois coming out with 100% staying make sense).

Has Conte ever even talked about or mentioned how much or little he rates Courtois, I very much doubt it (if he had it would be a much bigger story) so I imagine that you are just projecting your opinions onto a man we no very little about, which is fair enough.

There was a moment today when Courtois sliced a kick straight into touch, and the camera caught Lollichon's expression. He looked pretty disgusted.

Would i swap Cech back for Courtois?  Right now? Yes.

 

Do i still think Courtois is potentially in the worlds top 3, or even worlds best? absolutely.

 

 

However, if the recent reports are true with him and Lollichon, it is coming across as a spoilt primadonna not getting his own way.  Lollichon may well be a knobhead, but he did a pretty sterling job with Petr.  So i think personally Tibo should bite the bullet and get his head down, or hand in a transfer request if it is that bad.   Wont get near 65m for him though, 35m most
