Walcott reckon Arsenal could beat anyone in the CL  after their great escape. You got laugh at that, there's one thing about being confident, the other is completely cock and stupid. Had Bayern decided to gift a point to the Greek team 2 weeks earlier, yesterday wouldn't even matter. It could be a English thing too, every major tournament someone would say - we could beat anyone, then the same person wondered why all the hate when team failed so miserably.

They can though if they actually turn up. They already beat a very good Bayern side.

The problem is they don't tend to turn up often enough in Europe and have a real problem turning up on both of the two legs.

I didn't used to mind Walcott but in recent years he's just come out with more and more bollocks. Last season when he said Arsenal were challenging for the title. If been 10 (or more) points behind the league leaders is challenging for the title than expectations are very different nowadays.

Also I hate when anyone says there team can beat any other team. Well der of course they can that's sport for you anyone CAN beat anyone given circumstances and performance match. f**king hate stupid comments like that.

apparently man utd are going to be without 8 players and one of them out injured is smalling. massive blow for utd with smalling out. things look to be getting worse for utd, fecking hell this season is going terrible for many of the top teams in the prem and in europe.

Turned on talksport for a laugh, a United caller said Giggs could be their Pep Guardiola haha. What happened to managers working there way up and proving themselves? A bit like what Hasselbaink is doing.

Yeah it's absolute madness. Our defence for the next game could be Varela - Carrick/McNair - Blind - Borthwick-Jackson

Smalling is a huge blow as, for me, he is the reason we are where we are in the table, along with Big Dave. Add Schweiny's admittedly deserved ban and we are running very low on players. It is Van Gaal's fault for selling so many and buying so few replacements. If you check out redcafe, quite a few ar slowly turning against him.

I am by no means van Gaal out but, if Guardiola becomes available in the summer, I'd be in favour of cutting short Louis' reign.

I have known about this for a while, it's frustrating. It's not frustrating that United's games are getting televised, it's frustrating that nobody else is getting the same treatment.

28 December......

He has scored again; wouldn't bet against him hitting 20 league goals this season. Some would argue we won a double last season despite selling him, long term I question if it was the smartest decision.

Strange how luck seems to go with you at the top end of the table and against you when you're struggling, big decision in the City game and Swansea should be level.

See what I mean....lucky bar stewards

Edit: seems we both felt the same there

Game ain't even over and city fans all deserted. What a rubbish support base. Missed the winning goal and all. Pathetic bunch
