Can't even enjoy Liverpool losses.

f**king hell.

Oh I disagree there Joey, this is the bright spot for the football weekend. Well that and the Claudio doing incredibly well, hopefully a defeat for him next though.

The second goal is good as it denies LFC the ready excuse of an own goal.

The season is an odd one. It's like a marathon where none of the competitors wants to make the early running.

Can Leicester keep winning?

After next Monday I really do hope so :)

If Swansea, Norwich, Bournemouth and Newcastle win their next league game, and we lose, we will be in the relegation zone............unbelievable. I don't expect them to win though, all 4 of them have really hard games.

Blimey. I had no idea that the margins were that fine. It's hard to believe tbh.

And yet if you try to point out that we are clearly in a relegation battle, you get attacked.

There is absolutely no chance of relegation.

Even if we're 20th at Christmas.

Dortmund were in a worst situation than us last season. They finished top half, comfortably.

Stop being a drama queen.

I have no doubt you'll finish top half, if not top 6-8. Top four will be difficult but it's not as if there have been four teams pulling away. The current top four have been good and sh*te in equal measure, bar Leicester.

What a weird season this has been. If we were able to score, we'd be favourites to win it, considering our defensive displays. Man city and Arsenal, if their squads were fully fit, should also be running away with it.

I'll be at the United - Chelsea game on the 28th, though have a strong feeling it will end 0-0 with fewer than 5 shots on target between us.

But klopp is the second coming and we missed out and he is going to win Liverpool the league..

People have short short memories in football

Actually,as things stand at this moment in time,I think there is.We aren't Dortmund and this certanly isn't the Bundesliga.

Never, ever, make the mistake of thinking you're to good to go down!.

Even as Champions,we have to earn the right to stay in the Premiership.

Well, looks like whoever wins it this season will be regarded as worst champions for many a year...mind you, I know it won't happen, but would love it if Leicester somehow did it

At least we could laugh at liverpool, well, until we get reminded they have more points than us.

Roman should sell a yacht to buy Ronaldo, we need a selfish pr1ck that does nothing but score goals. We have plenty of guys willing to provide assists.

I wouldn't say we have plenty of guys to provide assists, more like too many players who will happily pass the responsibility to create to someone else and do a fancy flick when a simple ball would suffice, that usually goes straight to an opponent

Bet no retrospective action or even a mention in the media

And surprise surprise, not a mention, not a single thing. No fellaini crimes on sky on rotation etc. Unbelievable.

On don't be so sure it'll end 0-0, we seem to be trying to break all kinds of records, so i'm sure you lot could put a few past us without trying at the moment.

Lukaku scores his 50th goal for Everton in his 100th appearance for the club. ::clap2::

Just a shame that nobody at the Bridge could see his potential.

l

That is a sackable offence on its own.

Tonight we saw in both sides what we lack..palace had dogged defensive resilience and pace on the counter...Everton even more impressive, with skilful players like Barkley, stones and deulofeu and the big man up front who is a major threat in Lukaku...with bombing full backs...watching them I was thinking, shouldn't we be playing like this? Truth is we are nowhere near and I never thought I'd say that when comparing cfc and Everton

I know Brit. I've spent the last 20 minutes just looking at the table and the games from now to the end of February. Unless something miraculous happens we are going to be stuck around 12th or 13th all season. It's a shambles.

Well at least we end up safe from relegation....that's a positive isn't it?

We haven't been playing good attacking football for most part of this year, not a real problem when results were good. However when things started to go against us, it's just impossible to start playing the kind of football we played more than 1 year ago, since we haven't been putting emphasis on that for a long time. Look back at Jose's first journey with us, first season we played some awesome attacking football with Duff/Robben Combo, second season was also good but focus started to shift towards defence and holding out results, third season we started to become dull and results showed ( no where near how bad we are these days)

Don't worry, he may well be back here soon. Remember when he said he was too big for everton and wants a bigger club in future, and even spoke of wanting to play for chelsea again.
