Sky probably just want to get some surveyed percentages to justify another decision, e.g. what other sports to cut. Football is their bread and butter and everyone knows it.

One does wonder just how ridiculous it will become before people just get sick of it all and turn off. I am enjoying rugby and UFC more these days. Football this season has been a chore. I have never watched less actually.

I believe one of the main reasons that there's a shortage of truly world class players compared to a few years ago, is that so many teenagers are millionaires before they have even played 100 matches.... the desire just aint there for a lot of them.

Very good point. Some able or good players can earn very decent money by going through the motions. Often, they earn it on the bench.

I have some sympathy for managers who leave an under performing club, only to see the same players buck up their ideas for the new manager.

There are hard working players of course but those in the PL can be too rich, too soon as you say.
