Barcelona weren't even very good tonight and Arsenal still couldn't do anything. Arsenal are a waste of time in this competition, as soon as they come up against anyone tough, they go out. It would be better for English football if they missed out on qualifying for the competition.

I thought they played well in the first half, but failed to convert their chances. You're right about Barca though, not their most impressive performance and ultimately won fairly comfortably.

Poor game that tbh. Thought barca were disappointing but probably shouldve won by more.

Has coqerlin just come back from injury? if not it was a bizarre substitute by wenger.

I think bayern are clear favourites to go through I just don't think juve have the grit or tactical no us to do it in Munich. Only we have that.

Agreed that's actually still a decent result for them tonight even though they were 2-0 up

#WengerOut is trending again.

Wenger In, Wenger Out, Wenger Shake It All About

It's that time of the year again for Arsenal fans.

They start the season saying Wenger out, then they go quite around November, then when the Champions League starts up again, they say get Wenger out.

Sone Aluko could score a 95th minute winner in the FA Cup replay for Hull, Leicester or Spurs could pip them to the title and Barca could thrash them 6-0 in the return leg and Wenger will still comfortably be in charge next year.  :laugh2:  :laugh2:  :laugh2:  :laugh2:  :laugh2:

With a ticket price increase too lol.

Dani Alves strikes me as the kind of bloke who would wear sunglasses indoors.

Dani Alves strikes me as the kind of bloke who would wear anything.

So Arsenal and Wenger both talked about how they were gonna stop Barca and they lose 0-2 :laugh2:

Love it!

Would love it if Messi, Neymar and Suarez went into the Arsenal dressing room and said 'Hey amigos why no selfie today?'

Looks like goals against Cech come like London buses for Messi. Then again, West London buses are more efficient & well oiled than North London ones as Pete found out tonight.

Arsene Wenger has now lost more games in the Champions League history than ANY other manager. Specialist In Failure.

Ouch.

For real?

He's now took arsenal out at the last 16 for 6 years in a row, that's f**king abysmal.

The only team that can play physically and good against Barcelona is Chelsea.

It's because everybody else tries to beat them at their own game. You can't beat Barcelona playing flashy football, they will always do it better than you, you gotta play a different style of football to them or you're always going to lose.

I watched the Juve V Bayern match. Strange game. For 60 minutes it was men against boys and Munich really should have been way out of sight. Then Juve nick a goal from nowhere and suddenly it's game on.

Quite enjoyed it overall. Robben scored a good finish but still can hardly kick with his right foot, Mandzukic doesn't like the Germans and Cuadrado is still comedy gold. He makes falling over into an art form.

Let me guess, robbers goal was him cutting in from the right and smashing it in with his left.

Is this the first time Messi scored against Cech? Funny how a change of jersey could achieve so much

To be honest, I preferred Arsenal to get a 1:1, so they have to play their best team in the return leg, hoping for a impossible miracle.
