Heresy, as good as he is the Mack is the ultimate DM.

I wouldn't say Kante is a better player, just that he besides his defensive game has a decent pass and is good going forward.

Every time i watch Kante i am impressed. He may well be small but he's really strong, a good passer, quick, good at tackling and good in tight situations. He is exactly what we need in our midfield.

I like watching Drinkwater too, great pairing in midfield and supplement each other perfectly.

I think 75 points will win it this year, incredibly enough.

Spurs- maximum points of 82. Have trips to Anfield, Stamford Bridge, Stoke, as well as Man United at home. I'd be surprised if they pick up 12/12 from that.

Arsenal- maximum points of 79. On paper they have a fairly kind fixture list, but the way they're playing at the moment I'd be shocked if they suddenly win 9 on the bounce.

Man City- maximum points of 78. Have home fixtures vs Man Utd and Arsenal, as well as a trip to us. Might depend what sort of team/how motivated we are, but City are a mixed bag at moment.

Leaving of course, Leicester. Maximum of 87, the toughest fixtures being the final 3 of Man Utd away, Everton at home, us away. Let's hope they have it wrapped up by the time they visit us...

If leicester need 3 points of us to win the league then I hope they slaughter us. lets face it we've lost to everyone else this season so one more game isn't going to make any differance to us is it and most of the first team won't be here next season anyway.

Just got back from the Leicester game, am absolutely freezing.

A few disjointed thoughts:

- Leicester displayed some masterful, almost Drogba-esque timewasting at the end.

- Newcastle are already far better off the ball under Benitez, especially compared to the shambles of a side that we played against. They were pressing Leicester's midfield really effectively quite high up the pitch. Drinkwater really struggled today and that was a large factor in it.

- Kanté was phenomenal tonight, certainly my pick for the league's player of the year.

- Okazaki's was the first overhead kick goal I've ever witnessed in real life. Took me a few seconds to react as I hadn't realised he'd even made contact with the ball, let alone scored.

- The game was utter sh*te for long periods, especially in the second half, which was only compounded by how cold it was. Leicester weren't particularly impressive, still, 'mark of champions' etc.

- I was disappointed the 'fat Spanish waiter' chant I attempted to start didn't catch on.

- I thoroughly enjoyed the stadium announcer's pitiful attempt at pronouncing 'Seydou Doumbia'.

- The Indian girl next to me was gorgeous but left after 75 minutes - a shame.

No way do Leicester need to win 6 of their last 8, With the tough remaining fixtures for Spurs, the odds of them dropping points are very high, I think 4/5 wins for Leicester would do the job and they'd rather get those this part of the schedule then leave it to the last two/three games. If the title race is still alive going into the last two/three games then that would probably mean Leicester could get pipped, Like Fergie said they need to wrap it up with 3 games to go.

Just checked Leicester's last three games and boy was my theory right of not leaving it to the last three games being important, United away, Everton at home and then Chelsea away, Good luck getting 7/9 points from those if the title race is still alive, On the basis of that Spurs and Arsenal still have a sniff, We have joined United and Chelsea in taking the year off in the league.

we've to throw a bit of fixture congestion into the mix too. Leicester are unscathed but teams they have to come up against are going to be playing a lot of games in quick succession. we've got an international break at the end of March and then the whole "no other games while the Champions League is played" will reduce opportunities to get games played. it'll be a fun end to the season.

I thought that tonight was the first time Ranieri was behaving as though he believes they can win the title. Good luck to him and his team.

Regarding the 'how many points will Leicester get/how many points will win the title' debate, this is what one of the xG (expected goals) guys on Twitter thinks:

Leicester are one of those teams who I have never had any feelings about one way or the other in all my many years of following football.

It would be an incredible achievement if they can pull this off and I really hope they do. So pleased for Ranieri.

Err, Utd are sh*te, Everton are average and as for us lot...

On the flip side to that, have you seen the run of games Leicester have coming up? Can't take nothing for granted but a whole slate of winnable games.

I'll say it now, they will have the league title wrapped up with 2 games to spare or....they won't win it at all.

Err, Utd are sh*te, Everton are average and as for us lot...

I'm predicting two away draws and the home win against Everton.

I also wouldn't be surprised if they beat one of Man Utd or us away from home.
