Didn't recognise his name and didn't know who he was till I saw the photo at the bottom of the quote. Then I recognised him as the guy from Dave (the home of witty banter) the worst channel on the box

Shock .. he supports Arsenal

How the hell did naismith score a hat trick against us the guy is totall crap!!! Jeez we made him look like Maradona FFS!!!

He isn't terrible. He is a workhorse .. every managers dream.

he wasn't Spanish and/or he wasn't flavour of the month

Or he was a teenager who felt he didn't have to earn a starting spot but rather it should of just been handed to him on a platter and then someone offered us a near 30million fee for him.... half of one and all that I suppose except for the fact many had him cited as the next Didier Drogba so I would say he was certainly flavour of the month for quite some time but he just didn't live up to the hype.

It always winds me up when so many average/off form players stepped up and played the game of their lives against us (e.g. the entire Newcastle team). I know it's mostly our fault for letting them do so but watching them bend over for other top teams in numerous occasions really annoys me.

I still don't know where this whole ".....handed to him on a platter" quote comes from whenever Lukaku & De Bruyne are mentioned. Regarding Lukaku he had Torres ahead of him who was crap, after scoring 10+ PL goals on loan including a hat trick at Man Utd, I reckon he just wanted a fair chance. I rate him very highly and constantly scoring 10+ PL goals for the last few seasons considering his age should be applauded.

I have a sneaky feeling he will earn his big move to any of Utd, City, or Arsenal in the next 2 seasons.

We will buy back Lukaku for 60M when the time is right  :laugh2:  Right now he just want to play, soon he will crave the CL football and more $, we have seen it before in others.  Everton will see him in the next 2-3 years, by that time we will be linked..

Every time he has a good game he's a beast, he's fantastic, we shouldn't have sold him etc... when he has a quiet game there's no mention of him. Typical stuff, I don't think we were wrong to sell him.

You're only as good as your last game

I personally believe that Jose could make a fantastic player of him. He's hardworker and talented, from what I know Lukaku's main reason was to leave is playing time, he wanted to play and in some point I understand him.

Never rated Lukaku but fair play to him for doing well last night, but I just think his  first touch is incredibly poor and would struggle against teams who park the bus or press him. Everton are playing great counter attacking football which is suiting him and he really is doing well by coming deep and taking the attack to the other teams.
