If you're getting smashed 4-1 against this Spurs team you've got some issues.

 

Injuries are starting to have an impact by the looks of things. The whole of their back 5 are their second choice players. Then they have Toure who has gone off injured, Silva out injured, Bony out injured and Aguero off form. They ain't looking too good right now.

Demichellis is absolutely awful. Kompany/Mangala will replace him.

Caballero was/is awful. Hart will replace him.

Sagna is brutal at times. Zabaleta will replace him.

Maybe their squad isn't as good as first though as these stand in players are guff.

If we get back those five points, the earlier defeats/poor displays will mean absolutely nothing, time to start fresh, put a run together, and defend this title.

Wow citeh without hart, Kompany, a scoring aguero look very average indeed...also think as well as de bruyne has started with goals, he offers nothing defensively/pressing etc which is why Jose didn't play him in the first place...opportunity for Cfc to get right back in it today...have to take it

Don't be fooled, folks. Spurs may be level, but they are going to lose this game. City look good once again and, barring some repeated comical defending from Demichelis and especially Otamendi, I fully expect them to score at least one more.

 

Don't mind me, I've been munching on my hat since the third went in. Brilliant from Tottenham, really didn't expect them to do us a favour today. Win against Newcastle and we're just 5 points behind - more than manageable.
