Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid has just been banned from getting any players the next two transfer windows.

So that is the 3 top teams in Spain that are corrupt then. Embarrassing for Spanish football.

Not to mention Neymar in a fraud case and Messi on tax evasion, Those two should behave more like Suarez. :laugh2:

Some big money has been lumped on Berahino to Chelsea and Pato to Chelsea, Both have become very short odds to join Chelsea and considering this morning Berahino was favorite to join Spurs and Pato was fave to join Liverpool that must be some big moolah, Cavani has become 4/1 fave to join United as well but that is probably more to do with Blancs criticism of him.

Just a heads up on the transfer betting market

If i read it correctly Real and Atletico haven't been banned from signing players at all, just barred from registering new players ?   Confusing or what ?

no it's the same as barca they bought turan and vidal last summer but can't play until last week when the ban ends and they're eligible to be registered

Not at all. UEFA/FIFA cannot block a business entity purchasing assets. They can only ban clubs from activities which are under their control, like player registration.

Wouldn't want either. Why sign Berahino at 22 when we have the likes of Solanke, Bamford, Traore and Abraham?

And as for Pato.............hmmm, let me see. An injury prone striker who is nowhere near as good as he once was? Sounds way too familiar - surely we have learnt our lesson.

Premier League injury table: How is your team doing?By John Stanton & Ashleigh JacksonBBC Sport

Leicester are second, Newcastle are struggling and Stoke are in mid-table.

No, not the top-flight standings but the 2015-16 Premier League injuries league table.

We've teamed up with PhysioRoom.com  to analyse every injury this season and assess the impact on clubs.

Take a look below and see how your team is faring.

Here are a few points to consider:

  • Leicester have had the joint-lowest number of injured players and their players have missed the second-fewest number of days through injury. Does this help explain why they are challenging for the title?
  • Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been justified in highlighting his side's injury troubles - only Newcastle's players have missed more days than those in the Reds' squad.
  • Poor Bournemouth ... They have suffered fewer than half the number of injuries experienced by Manchester City but the severity of them (cruciate knee ligament injuries for Tyrone Mings, Max Gradel and Callum Wilson) mean their players have missed 175 days more than those in Manuel Pellegrini's squad.
  • Three of the teams with the biggest squads have had more injuries than anyone else in the league - Manchester City (47),Liverpool (39) and Manchester United (39).
  • The six best-performing teams in injury terms - Watford, Leicester, West Brom, Swansea, Norwich and Southampton - are clubs without European commitments.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up folks.

Good thing we have Falcao to keep us from relegation in that table.

Southampton have completed the signing of striker Charlie Austin for £4m, Incredible, Tremendous signing at tremendous value.

That's a very low price these days. Any reason why it's low, relatively? If not, great signing.

I rate Austin. You're having a good season Spud :)
