September 29, 20169 yr Hmmm... Starting to enjoy himself at Ajax... On the bright side he'll probably returned with enhanced value.
September 30, 20169 yr We loaned out the wrong player in my view. If we are going to try the 2 strikers system, we definitely need more strikers. Costa is 1 card away from suspension, we could end up with Hazard as striker again sometime this season.

October 16, 20169 yr Another goal and very good performance by Traore. Nice run and reading of the game for the goal, good fnish, http://www.voetbalcentraal.nl/nieuws/142170/video-chelseahuurling-blijft-koel-ajax-op-02-in-den-haag

Overall Bertrand Traore looks to have been really underwhelming for Ajax so far reading up a littlebit.

Probably below expectations, but he is improving.
October 16, 20169 yr Still not sure what we learn or achieve from his loan. We already know he can perform in Holland but can he deliver consistently in England? Say both Traore and Abraham score around twenty league goals this year, who's done better and who's more likely to link up with our senior team as a result?
October 16, 20169 yr Already know what's going to happen, he'll come back from an unspectacular loan spell, get sent out again and we will have people saying he was never that good to begin with.

He was viewed as the worst Ajax player on the pitch, and in the overall votes for this season, he is fifth from last. So much room for improvement.
October 17, 20169 yr Looked good in his brief appearances last season, shame he's not kicked on from there.
November 3, 20169 yr So lot's of people have had enough of Traore, he's not doing very much and apparently has a bit of an ego.
November 3, 20169 yr I can somewhat understand the lads below par performance so far in Holland, I bet during pre-season he must've thought he was truly going to be a integral part of the Chelsea squad this season considering we only have 2 strikers and one being a suspension risk at all times. However he was sent out on loan which I believe would have knocked anyone's confidence down-Having said all that I do believe he has a bright future ahead of him in the blue shirt
November 3, 20169 yr I don't think his comments have anything to do with his ego, our loan system is flawed and he shouldn't have been sent out on loan, he's not wrong and he's one of many loaned players that has speaken out. Edited November 3, 20169 yr by Floyd25
November 3, 20169 yr I can understand his frustration, we have signed £30m striker of a similar age who doesnt seem much better than traore. Thats not a knock on batshuayi by the way, i think both he and traore have bags of potential. Maybe we wouldve been better keeping the batshuayi money and using traore, who lead the line well for us in his minutes last season. I think the club panicked a little as there was a point where it looked costa could leave, so we edged our bets, and signed a striker we hoped could replace him better than traore would. Now we are absolutely stacked at centre forward, with abraham also playing his way into thoughts for the future, and maybe even solanke could pick yp momentum, if and when his contract is resolved. Traore can only keep his head down and try and force his way into conte's squad for next season, when hopefully there will be more fixtures and and minutes to go around.
November 3, 20169 yr He was enjoying his football last season, improving, scoring and was very hungry and not demanding to be first choice. It was a mistake to loan him out. Sure, maybe he shouldn't speak out like this but at least it's straight to the point and not some sneaky bitch dig like Bamford did.
November 4, 20169 yr Agreed with comment about the RW, we could do with someone who could cut in onto their strong foot and pop a shot off. Much like his goal against (stoke?), Traore would be in those positions much more there.
November 4, 20169 yr Loan system is great, really finds out which players are willing to put their head down and work, and the ones that aren't.
November 4, 20169 yr Most Ajax-fans i've seen commenting on him seems to think he is one of their worst players. Not going to make it here.
November 4, 20169 yr Don't worry, he'll pop up again as our new left wing-back after five seasons of increasingly hopeless loans.
