West Brom vs. Chelsea (PL) 23/08/15 KO 13:30 BST

Every game we're being attacked down the right side, I guess by now everyone has noticed that. This is our Achilles heel and every opponent targets it.

As for the game, thank God for the first win, but our defense was a letdown again. We conceded 7 goals in our first 3 games. Doesn't look like a Mourinho team to me. Ivanovic continues to impersonate a footballer. Falcao hasn't had much time to impress, but he looks so weak and helpless out there I'm experiencing bouts of torresitis every time I see him falling on his ass or strolling without purpose.

Pedro was brilliant, but then again, that's why I wanted him at the club so badly. Courtois, Azpi, Zouma and Costa were good, too.

I'd imagine it will be the back 4 that finished the game. In all honesty though, ivanovic is really struggling, i'd love to see rahman come in, especially as palace have Zaha and bolasie, who I will give ivanovic problems again next week.

It's a strange one, I can see Jose doesn't want to drop Ivan and understand it to an extent, bringing him in to his natural position could be good for the team and the player, I'd certainly do that if I thought the new LB was worth what the club gave for him, Azpi has the legs to handle most quick wingers and it would be nice to see if Ivan can still cut it at CB.

I'd be happy to see him next to Zouma or Cahill, for me we need to know if the lack of pace at our RB position is why Cesc is struggling for form, he has a bigger load that he just can't carry and we are wasting him as a player, the number ten role is the only other option for him but I can't help prefering Oscar there.

I thought that Fabregas did okay today. We were very unlucky with the red card and West Brom had a good day. I am pretty satisfied with the 3 points.

Dont think we were poor there.

37 mins with 10 men, and had 3/4 chances to seal the game.

Some fundamental issues...but they will be sorted.

There's only one way to do that - new players have to be bought and the non-performers benched and/or sold.

Another worrying thing is Hazard has been a shadow of himself since the start of the season. Today the only decent play he made was towards the end, when he nearly scored. Other than that, you would ask yourself if he were still playing.

Fabregas and Ivanovic, something is really wrong with them.

Ivanovic was the same last season too but it's just got worse this season because the opposition are more aware of his weaknesses.

The opposition has worked out Fabregas in my opinion, everyone knows he isn't the quickest and strongest. Even though he says his best position is playing deep, i don't think we can keep playing him there. We either need to play him behind the striker, change the formation, or drop him. I don't want us dropping him that's for sure, so i think we have to change his position or change the formation.

Hope Fabregas, Ivanovic and Matic will improve their performances soon because the bench's waiting for them.

They seem to think they're undroppable. I'll add hazard to that. Jose really needs to jog them back to life.

Last year, Fabregas was on the same position and we actually could feel him, I had that feeling that we have a real playmaker that could leave Costa against the goalkeeper in every counter attack. Until now things are not going well for him, he always made Costa look active, he created chances but now he's different Fabregas. I really hope this is form problem.

Has anyone got a vine of the red card?

I want to see it again.

Sky pundits are saying it was a deserved red. (Redknapp w**ker)

Who's to blame them when Ramires and Mikel are backups. Signing a new midfielder could change the complexion.

Must be a better option than Ivanovic at right back. Zouma, Azpi even Stones (if he comes) can do a better job.

As for Matic/Fabregas as our defensive pivot, something needs to give.

Seriously hope we've got a good fall-back if Pogba isn't coming.

My personal opinion this wasn't a red card. It was a foul, but not red card. Rondon wasn't scoring that chance.

haha pedro really is something ain't he?

our players are very suspect to runs behind the defence when we play high. Zouma is very important when we play high but even then they use the inside channel of Ivan/Zouma and get through there regularly due to Ivans positioning not being correct. Can see why Jose is so desperate for Stones now.

Good win, nice to finally get some points on the board. Great debut from Pedro looked very impressive hopefully more performances like this to come! Costa looked more like his normal self again too which is good to see. Defensivley we still look very shakey Ivanovic was poor again and the protection in front of the defence with Matic and Fabregas was just as bad. The red card bollocks nothing more needs to be said.

Despite the fact I want to believe it wasn't a red, it absolutely was. If the same happened to Costa and we didn't get the red card we'd be furious- Terry got in front of him with his arm across and caused him to fall. He probably exaggerated it but you expect that and we would want one of our players to do the same
