I agree, but it'd be a massive decision to drop them. They're probably the closest thing to leaders we have on the park, besides Cahill.

Take Ivan. Our captain is (arguably) not part of our strongest XI at the moment. To then bench our vice-captain, and probably for Baba who's looked pretty shaky defensively against lower oposition. That sort of decision sends a big message.

And Cesc has been equally poor, yet this is the man we built our team around last season (Jose's words) and it won us the title last season. Sometimes you have to show faith that the players will rediscover their form.

Jose cettainly has his faults, but I can sympathise with these decisions. This is the spine of his title winning side everyone is crying out to see benched.

Incidentally, there's a lot of embarrassing over reactions in this thread. Hilarious that some are wanting Jose out. We've all asked for stability over the years. I'm personally tired of the knee jerks. Let's see this team sort it out.

Seems like the players have stopped playing for Jose. And I don't blame them. f**king piss poor man management. Rewarding Ivanovic with the captain's armband and making it a personal mission to resurrect Falcao is just shambolic.

I don't think he's lost the players but it must be disheartening for some that he continues to pick players who don't deserve to be in the squad. I'm hope it doesn't affect their confidence, but if you continue to cost the team points and play consistently badly you probably would be dropped by most other managers. I don't understand why they're untouchable.
