September 29, 201510 yr Well beaten in the second half. It's going to take some effort to get out of this slump. Sometimes when your luck is out, nothing seems to work. Team seem to be playing with no confidence. Azpilicueta excellent as usual, one of the very few leaders we have at the moment. Edited September 29, 201510 yr by EmeraldBlue
September 29, 201510 yr they have to sack mourinho ...seriously ...we can't get worse than now without him...everyone for example agrees that ivanovic is rubbish this year really i have no idea how an ''experienced '' manager like him doesn't see it ?! or maybe he is just stubborn ?! ...30% on the players and 70% on mourinho for this shi*ty performance ^^^ word salad
September 29, 201510 yr I thought that Willian was quite okay, too. Cesc wan't too bad either. Cesc? Jesus I thought I was a big fan of his, he was atrocious!
September 29, 201510 yr Who plays out on the left for Southampton? Mane/Tadic... either way Ivan is f**ked
September 29, 201510 yr Zouma is great and will be fantastic, but you need leaders in there when you go away to a place like that, and we just didn't have any. Saturday is such a huge game, simply have to win
September 29, 201510 yr Mane is lightening quick. We know exactly what tactic will be used this weekend then. Jesus wept.
September 29, 201510 yr Something must have happened way up the command chain for the club to lose heart like this. Jose is a good manager, and these are good players, so look elsewhere for the solution I reckon.
September 29, 201510 yr If Loftus Cheek doesn't get into the team in the next few games he may aswell just leave. If Ivanovic doesn't get dropped then Jose may aswell just put a ring on it because he's quite obviously in love.
September 29, 201510 yr In this competition, Dynamo Kyiv away, then them again at home. Southampton on Saturday. f**k me Southamptom next? Doesn't get easier does it
September 29, 201510 yr Zouma is great and will be fantastic, but you need leaders in there when you go away to a place like that, and we just didn't have any. Saturday is such a huge game, simply have to win Many games have been must win, but they are not really. End of the day Jose gets the team going again or he gets sacked. We know how Roman works.
September 29, 201510 yr If Loftus Cheek doesn't get into the team in the next few games he may aswell just leave. If Ivanovic doesn't get dropped then Jose may aswell just put a ring on it because he's quite obviously in love. Haha that second part made me laugh, but I agree

Welcome btw.
September 29, 201510 yr Willian, Begovic and Ramires were outstanding today, they showed real desire and a never say die attitude. Ivanovic had a very poor game defensively where he was getting outpaced and pushed off the ball and going forward where his crosses and headers were lacking quality. I think we should be playing Zouma and Terry centrally with Dave and Rahman as full backs.
September 29, 201510 yr Well, what a lot of sad people you lot are. Away to the top of the Portugese league, and they worked really hard, ran around huge amounts like little Jack Russells, always chasing the ball. Not great football, though. And then, as a summation of the sort of self-entitled posts that always follow this sort of match, we have..... F**k sake. F**king dreadful as usual........................some bollocks........................... This is not what we deserve. We deserve more. wah, wah, wah, it's not fair, we deserve cookies and ice cream, we deserve, we deserve, we deserve and the some more bollocks. You deserve nothing. IF you pay your entrance money, you deserve 90 minutes of football, nothing more. You got that. Grow the f**k up and support your club, regardless of results. (Not just you adineen, just was easier to quote a single post)
September 29, 201510 yr I can imagine that the likes Mane, Tadic, Long and Rodriguez are really looking forward to playing against Ivanovic
September 29, 201510 yr Put Ivanovic out of his misery. At this stage! Baba, Aina or even Papi need to replace him in the side. It can't get any worse with those guys on. Fabregas HAS to be dropped. Physically a snail, ponderous on the ball and so horribly weak. They've both had more than enough leniency. The two of them are costing the team the most.
September 29, 201510 yr Southampton often double up on the wing with their full backs if memory serves me right? Please God do not let Ivanovic start.
September 29, 201510 yr I thought Fabregas was alright tonight, although he faded in the last half hour. Ivanovic was better too although was ultimately responsible for us initially going behind. Hazard and Matic are mere shadows of the players they once were. I thought José absolutely made the right move in dropping them, although it didn't seem to make a great deal of difference, even when they came off the bench. Begovic was excellent other than being beaten at his near post for the winner, although I suppose a lot of the blame for that goal can be laid at the feet (head?) of Ramires, who after an amazing substitute appearance in midweek, proved that he is the perfect model of inconsistency. Azpilicueta was probably the only player in our back four who came away with any shred of dignity. Mikel also put in a respectable performance. Willian was by far our best attacking player tonight; he got the goal and was at the heart of every single good attacking move we put together.
September 29, 201510 yr I think some of the dark mood is to do with the transfer window. Definitely some tension between him and the board over that. I think Jose was a little too stubborn that by keeping the exact same squad and not strengthening with big names could win us the league again.
September 29, 201510 yr Something must have happened way up the command chain for the club to lose heart like this. Jose is a good manager, and these are good players, so look elsewhere for the solution I reckon. Playing devil's advocate here and not in anyway advocating he gets sacked, but what if Jose cannot motivate a team beyond his 2nd season? Can't see any light at thread of the tunnel, and Ironically we bring in someone new and results will pick up.
September 29, 201510 yr Never mind sacking Jose, I wish Roman would get most of the first XI a spell in a Siberian gulag. They look like a fat, lazy, complacent, talentless bunch of tossers. Play the young guys, it can't be any worse.
