When motivated, he can score a few goals. See Madrid and Spurs (both for half a season).

The more you think about it... Worked with JM, has height and physical presence, out of contract, low risk, has been in close contact with Drogba over the last several months... Won't be surprised if it happened. Costa, Remy, Adebayor. Slight upgrade on current trio.

I would absolutely love Zlatan at Chelsea, even though he's 34 he still has it. 11 goals in 15 games so far this season. Would give Costa a massive kick up the arse too. Doubt Costa really feels threatened by Remy or Falcao

I wouldnt mind Zlatan at CFC but I don't see us paying that sort of wage for him and truth be told I would much rather we took a more long term approach to the Strikers position. We are getting no where with bringing in over the hill strikers to serve us for a season, hopefully we bring in  Alex or Griezman in the summer & have them compete with Remy for a spot and promote Bamford/Solanke as the 3rd striker.

 

We need Players who offer some versatility in our forward positions and both Alex and Griezman can play as strikers and also behind the striker in the no.10 role so it offers us more options in an attacking sense. This would also mean Bamford/Solanke would get more minutes or time with the senior squad similar to what RLC is experiencing at present.

Would love Zlatan here even just for a season he's a class player, would have crazy wages though so can't see it happening.

Ibrahimovic is pretty much exactly the opposite to what we need at the moment.

Michy Batshuayi could be an interesting target.

Adebayor is definitely a good short term solution. Trust him way more than Falcao and he's obviously fine with a bench role.

Exactly Enigma. I just don't get how people feel we would just sign elites after having a poor season. Even Utd had trouble signing worldies, they had to pay insane amounts.

I guess the only way we can sign top quality is offering them large amounts of money, and the fact that many footballers are mercenaries these days gives us some hope i guess lol. For the top players who want European football and chance of trophies, we might struggle to get those.

I just don't trust Jose with any money at the moment. How much have we wasted on players that have been sold or loaned out after about 6 months? It's embarrasing. Plus, anyone even remotely creative he just ships out, all he'll do is sign more players to run around aimlessly.

 

Honestly I think Jose is our biggest problem here, the football he sets the team up to play is hampering them.
